MONDAY : 10 AM - NOON TUESDAY : 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP) WEDNESDAY : 10 AM - NOON, NOON - 2 PM, 6 - 8 PM THURSDAY : NOON - 2 PM, 2 - 4 PM, 6 - 8 PM FRIDAY : NOON - 2 PM, 2 - 4 PM SATURDAY : 8 - 10 AM (FEEDING TIME), 10 AM - NOON, NOON - 2 PM, 2 - 4 PM, 6 - 8 PM, 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP) SUNDAY : ALL DAY *** Feeding Times and Bedtime/Lock-Up are the most critical to fill. *** Please take a look at the available Feeding Times and Bedtimes to see if you are available to care for the pups. VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT - WHAT IS YOUR ‘WHY’ FOR THE RANCH ?
Shelly Jones is a valued Volunteer who consistently serves the People and the Pups at The Ranch I have always been a dog lover and have volunteered in the rescue community for years. I have a soft spot for the senior dogs, so when the Ranch opened it seemed like a perfect fit. I love that the dogs can free roam within their spaces. I believe this is far less stressful for both the dogs and the people who care for them than the traditional shelter environment. It’s a joy to spend time with the seniors and I have met many great people here as well!

IT’S HOT!!! With the temperatures forecasted to be very high, please keep the pups in the grass (the concrete and asphalt get VERY hot), and only take them out if necessary. If the pups have direct access to the yard, just let them out for a quick spin around the yard, let them do their business and take them back inside for a long drink of water.

***** HOSPICE FOSTER NEEDED !!! ***** MEET JEM. Jem arrived at The Ranch just a few days ago, and we could immediately see how uncomfortable she was. We took her to the vet today and found out that she likely has a large mass on her spleen. Because of her age and other existing health issues, we have decided to forego the exploratory surgery and instead give her THE BEST LIFE for the rest of her days. Jem deserves a home where she can settle in, decompress, and be spoiled for the rest of her life. She is an incredibly sweet girl... gentle and loving.
