MONDAY : 8 - 10 AM (FEEDING TIME), 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP) TUESDAY : 6 - 8 PM THURSDAY : 8 - 10 AM (FEEDING TIME), 10 AM - NOON, 2 - 4 PM, 6 - 8 PM FRIDAY : 8 - 10 AM (FEEDING TIME), 10 AM - NOON, NOON - 2 PM, 2 - 4 PM, SATURDAY : 8 - 10 AM (FEEDING TIME), 10 AM - NOON, NOON - 2 PM, 6 - 8 PM, 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP) SUNDAY : 8 - 10 AM (FEEDING TIME), 10 AM - NOON, NOON - 2 PM, 6 - 8 PM, 7:30 - 8 PM (BEDTIME / LOCK-UP) *** Feeding Times and Bedtime/Lock-Up are the most critical to fill. *** Please take a look at the available Feeding Times and Bedtimes to see if you are available to care for the pups. VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT - WHAT IS YOUR ‘WHY’ FOR THE RANCH ?
Marty Dougherty is such a kind soul who is always ready to fill in when she can I have always wanted to help animals, especially dogs, but extra time always seemed to be non-existent. So, after retiring from teaching, I started looking into volunteer opportunities. I was so pleased when I saw the sign for Imagine Furever Ranch! After looking into it a bit online, I decided it seemed like the perfect place to work…but it turned out to be no work at all! Instead, it is a kind of respite. Spending time with the dogs is so much fun and equally rewarding, even picking up poop! Imagine Furever Ranch is a really wonderful place for the dogs, with really wonderful volunteers who sincerely care about them. I am very proud to be a part of this cause and talk it up to everyone I know. My dog, Teitur, is a senior too (14 ½), and I would hope that if anything ever happens to me, he would have a place like this shelter to stay until a forever home could be found.

IT’S HOT!!! With the temperatures forecasted to be very high, please keep the pups in the grass (the concrete and asphalt get VERY hot), and only take them out if necessary. If the pups have direct access to the yard, just let them out for a quick spin around the yard, let them do their business and take them back inside for a long drink of water.

*** NEW FOOD FOR THE PUPS !!! *** We have been very fortunate to have many donations of food for the pups! We have done our best to mix in new types of food to avoid as many upset tummies as possible. Unfortunately, any time a dog’s food is changed there is a high probability that they will have some kind of diarrhea. :(
In order to avoid the upset tummies and to promote the good health of our pups we will provide them with a consistent diet of Purina One Vibrant Maturity. In addition to the consistent food, we now have the proper amount of food that each pup should receive for breakfast and dinner noted on their white board. It is imperative that some of our pups lose weight for their overall health. This information should make feeding time so much easier and we will have far less wasted food.
