All Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when at The Ranch. VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT - WHAT IS YOUR ‘WHY’ FOR THE RANCH ?
Kelli Patrick is an amazing Volunteer who consistently gives of her time to The Ranch My name is Kelli Patrick. I am pictured with my senior dog, Aiden. I started volunteering at Imagine Furever Ranch in May and really love hanging out with senior dogs. I have been involved in animal rescue for over 10 years and love the open concept of The Ranch. The dogs get to decide which couch or spot on the floor they want to sleep on and can play or hang out with any of their doggy friends. It is very rewarding to give the seniors the best lives that they have left. I have always adopted senior dogs.

CHANGES AT THE RANCH : Sally-Sal was feeling a little down after his besties, Roxy and Guenther, went to their Foster Homes, so the work began to move Lulabelle and Talia in with Sal. After many successful trials Sal, has two new roommates! We think the girls love their new view out the front of The Lodge. Jovi has two new roommates, Libby and Bernard. They are all getting along very well! Luna & Piper are visiting until Tuesday. They are in the Volunteer Room. Ellie and Belle are also visiting, and hanging out in The Lounge.

IT’S HOT!!! With the temperatures forecasted to be very high, please keep the pups in the grass (the concrete and asphalt get VERY hot), and only take them out if necessary. If the pups have direct access to the yard, just let them out for a quick spin around the yard, let them do their business and take them back inside for a long drink of water and a sprawl out on the cool concrete. (Sal, Lulabelle, Talia, Jovi, Libby and Bernard) Very short potty and poo walks for Piper, Luna, Ellie and Belle.

*** NEW FOOD FOR THE PUPS !!! *** We have been very fortunate to have many donations of food for the pups! We have done our best to mix in new types of food to avoid as many upset tummies as possible. Unfortunately, any time a dog’s food is changed there is a high probability that they will have some kind of diarrhea. :(
In order to avoid the upset tummies and to promote the good health of our pups we will provide them with a consistent diet of Purina One Vibrant Maturity. In addition to the consistent food, we now have the proper amount of food that each pup should receive for breakfast and dinner noted on their white board. It is imperative that some of our pups lose weight for their overall health. This information should make feeding time so much easier and we will have far less wasted food.
