When I arrive on location, I begin by taking a look around the property to gain a better perspective of the site and any features that need to be highlighted

Declutter Remove personal items, excess furniture, and anything that makes rooms look messy Clean, open spaces photograph better and look more inviting

Clean A spotless home looks better in photos. Make sure everything from floors to windows is clean.

Stage Arrange furniture to highlight the best features of each room

Consider adding fresh flowers, stylish pillows, or other small touches to make the space look more appealing

Lighting Understanding how to balance different color temperatures from the variety of lighting sources in the room such as natural window light along with artificial light from fixtures is essential

Composition Framing rooms to maximize space, and highlight key feature

Backup Equipment Having backup gear is not just a precaution it’s a necessity Being prepared for any situation is crucial, as the equipment is subject to wear and tear, technical malfunctions, and unexpected failures.

This is the most time consuming part of the process as each image goes through a hand edit process

Downloading Cards The images are downloaded and categorized into job files

Culling This is the process of selecting the images that made the final cut

Editing Each image is hand edited for color balance, exposure, contrast, highlights, sharpness along with merging HDR files

Backup Files Files are backed up on multiple external hard drives

Terms

Locations within 15 miles are included in The Collection price.

Mileage rate .75 cents/mile for locations over 15 mile driving distance from the Studio

Contract Signing and payment of Retainer is due at the booking date.

The balance is due in full 24 hours prior to session date
