Choosing the group of students and teachers, distribution of tasks and other organization tasks.

The presentation of the project (objectives, activities, results) to the school students, teachers, parents and local community.

The designing of a place where the activities held during the project will be exposed and the schedule of the project activities.

Deadline: September 30th 2013 Preparing the presentation of schools for website.Preparing the information about the school, the town, the country participating in the project (photos of the school, city, country, the name of the school, other info).

Deadline: October 7th 2013 Realizing a leaflet for promoting our schools among the partners.

Realizing a school presentation/leaflet in English by all coordinators as a first instrument for promoting our schools among the partners, as they can find out our schools’ objectives, educational cycles, material base, European projects, staff number, and educational offer.

Deadline: October 10th 2013 Mascot of the project.

The logo of the project. Students draw ideas about project logo, then organize competition in the each project school. The best logos are downloaded in the website (one from each country). Each project school is voting. The winners take part in the first project meeting where we will present the winner's logo.

Deadline: October 7th 2013 Establishing the vocabulary and the themes necessary to editing the “Our Mini-Vocabulary” in (reflecting aspects of our daily life). Each partner school fills in with the corresponding words in their languages.

Looking around city, visiting school, meeting with students and teachers, the development of communications skills. Discussing the next steps of the project. Exchanging school presentations.

Lesson about Europe (school presentations to other participants and students) - getting to know the partners, the educational system in the partner countries, During the visit all participants visit the Baltic Sea. Exhibition – Amber Through the Centuries (during the visit in Latvia). The students, parents, teachers and other staff organize exhibition about amber (books, pictures, various things from amber, treated and natural amber etc.). Partner schools can also take part with different things from amber. During the visit we organize competition with activities connected with amber.

Art festival "With and without water"- we organize during the visit in Latvia. Students draw, glue and create different works from different materials. Finally exhibition.

Cities by the sea (ocean).Each partner's school prepares information, also make a map about the biggest cities in their countries which are located close to sea or ocean.

Deadline: October 31st 2013 The sea as a source of inspiration for artists. In art lessons students do research about different artists who are inspired from the sea. They will make a video or presentation.

Deadline: November 30st 2013 Songs about the sea (to prepare a song festival on February).

Each country choose songs (each country 2 songs) about the sea and download song titles in the website and prepare for singing (popular songs, folk songs). We start to prepare a song festival on February. On February will be song festival via Skype or by Gmail or by FlashMeeting).

Deadline: November 30st 2013 Christmas tree - decorated with sea motifs.In art lessons students create different decorative elements with the sea motifs for Christmas tree.

Deadline: December 15st 2013 Jobs and professions (at the seaside, on a ship, in a port and etc.).

Students make a video about jobs and professions at the seaside, on a ship, in a port and etc. They tell stories, put pictures and music in video. Students can also use some theatre elements, creating video.

Visit to the shop, market – what kind of fish or other sea animals we can buy in our shops, markets, prices in Euro per kg (research work – biology, economic, math) Students (can do together with teachers or parents) make a research work in biology, economic, math.

They take pictures, calculate prices in Euro per kg, draw diagrams.

Summary

Game is possible to download website or write on CD. Excursion to the sea, collecting different kinds of materials for art works in September.
