I could never imagine my life without visual thinking. It seems like my first language has always been an image instead of a written word. An image of context and aesthetic combined. Visual art is where I can get lost and find myself again, whether it is an exquisite masterpiece or beauty found in ugliness. Artistic blood flows through my veins. I followed my mother and grandmother's footsteps in the art of making crafts and garments. Since childhood, I have developed drawing and sewing skills. I design and sewn doll clothes almost every day accompanying my mother tailoring her client's garment. My life leads me to textile design. In the glimpse of an eye, I believe this is MY PATH, MY PASSION, and the beginning of my career. Throughout my educational route, I have gained conceptual and technical design thinking. Whether creating textile for interior or fashion a textile designer must possess a VISSION.

ACTIVE PHAGE
BACTERIOPHAGE AS A TEXTILE MOTIF This study is focused on the development of Bacteriophage as motifs for printed athleisure wear and the making process of the textile products. Various themes can be used as an inspiration to produce an outstanding and creative design using Bacteriophage as its motifs. There are several species of bacteriophage that can be applied. For example, Ackermannviridae, Myoviridae, Siphoviridae, and Podoviridae. The purpose of this research is to study the various type of motifs and design development based on Bacteriophage to create a design as a medium to convey the message of the importance of Bacteriophage for our health and environment. For this research, the technique used for the first product is digital printing for length fabric. For the second product, digital printing and fabric manipulation technique are used to produce a set of women's athleisure wear. Third product, digital print and fiber techniques are implemented for women's athleisure wear. Last product consists of digital print technique with bacteriophage motif for fashion accessories. These athleisure collections are a hybrid of athletic and leisurewear that can be used for various settings.

SUBJECT MATTER
Bacteriophage
Bacteriophages are very abundant; actually, there are thousands of millions of bacteriophages around us, although we cannot see them. They live everywhere: in the soil, in the oceans, in our bodies, and also in food. Bacteriophages are harmless to all of us and also to animals and plants. Bacteriophages are only dangerous for bacteria because they need bacteria to reproduce. Bacteriophages can be used to treat infectious diseases or to remove bacteria from other places where they are unwanted without harming good bacteria.
CONCEPT & INSPIRATION
Art Deco The concept taken from 1920s style which on that year Phage Therapy application are started to be recognised. But soon after antibiotic are introduced. Phage Therapy application is no longer relevant. Only now after 100 years we realised our body will be resistant to antibiotic and are harmful to the human as it kills all good bacteria in our bodies. More scientists are now interested in phage therapy. The revival of phage therapy is considered one viable solution to the antimicrobial resistance crisis The story of Phage therapy is somewhat similar with Art Deco Style which roaring in 1920s and faded but started to revive in 1960s. Art Deco style can be distinguish by it symmetrical, geometry, moderne line art, motion aerodynamic curves, and ancient egyptian influenced.
10
Erté Inspired by Romain de Tirtoff. He has been called the “Father of Art Deco” for his influence on art and design in the 20th century. Based on the artist's intricate style and detailed designs, his jewelry is known as Erte “Art To Wear.” He would also draw inspiration from the nautical world (his most recurring and favorite theme), animals, birds (the peacock being his favorite), and Egyptian culture, amongst other sources.

COLOUR REFERENCE
Joyful pastel hues that resemble a delightful swirled serving of cotton candy. This color palette takes our minds off of the gloom of this pandemic and embrace the cheery potential of a baby blue or mint. This pallete giving the playful, light, and airy vibe contrasting with the classic art deco colors which are rich, dark and heavy colors. Our aim is to create an art deco style design with a touch of modernity and soft element.
