Sybil Atteck 1911-1975 Woman with Red Hair, 1947 Provenance: 1948: First exhibited 11 -14 September 1948 Sybil Atteck solo show “52 Oils and Watercolours” at the Public Library in Port of Spain, exhibition opened by His Worship the Mayor of Port of Spain at 5pm.

1953: 21 November – 19 December 1953 Shown at the Royal Society of British Artists – 220th Exhibition, London. Exhibited alongside her other work entitled “Young Man” 1959: 6 February – 1 March 1959 Sybil Atteck one man show at the Commonwealth Institute, London.

47 Works were exhibited by Atteck, the show was opened by Garnet Gordon, Commissioner in London for the West Indies.
