The cover is a digital manipulation of an archival photograph of a South African 'Dompas', a brainchild of Apartheid and white supramicist strategy to control, regulate, police Black social life.
This issue is composed of works by writer Pulane Mafatshe, scholar and writer Kholeka Shange, US-based poet Mustapha Jinadu, poet Ncedisa Mpemnyama, among others. The submissions include reviews of Zoe Modiga's sophomore 'INGANEKWANE', Xavier Livermon's 'Kwaito Bodies', Sethembiso Zulu's IKHAYA LIKAMOYA, a short story, & poems, to name a few.
