Covered gallery

Covered gallery connects the project with an old soviet building of city planning department and creates an entrance area for both of them. That will help workers to move between buildings much easier in winter or rainy weather. Lighttransmitting constructions can also be used to save water in tanks and use it for water supply system.

ARCHITECTURAL TREEHOUSE COMPETITION

Location: Bethnal Green, East London, England, UK Year: 2014 Category: competition project

In terms of the competition participants should have designed an Original Contemporary Treehouse for a professional city couple as an escape space and retreat lodging to be used by the couple to recharge and feel close to nature.

Creation

This project was inspired by the Elven culture, that represents ideal balance between nature and humans. I wanted to create a treehouse that looks like it grows from the tree, like it is an extension of tree. In the beginning I draw a lot of sketches in bionic forms, like a drop or a hive, but it wasn’t unique enough and comfortable in layouts. That’s why I decided to start from something more familiar to person. Following this path of design I get through elaborate layout of floors, fairy appearence and comprehensible constructive basis of the house.

p.20

Exterior

All facades looks sl because of the mo elements. Stairs come from a terrace, which encircles sides. There are two barrels sides of front door to save a tea table space to admire over a cup of tea or coffe.

Layout of floors

First level includes porch, and a living area. On there is a shower, a small place, a sofa and double furniture and space under can be used as a storage total area of twenty square house is perfect for two can easily take up two guests two.

Constructive basis

Steel ring with a spacer wear on a tree shaft. Because of conical form of the shaft ring of a certrain diameter can be fixed on the desired height. A system of six rings and balks is a stable foundation. Also, instead of a tree a metal pillar can be used.

Interior

Exterior and interior are united in this project. Forms of furniture, lines of stairs inside continue exterior of the house. Huge stained-glass w i n d o w s p r o v i d e m a x i m u m insolation and make forest views an integral part of interior. Dormer over the bed allows to see stars or the moon at night. Each detail of the interior helps to relax and feel like in a fairytale.

Idea

A long old historical market building is on the left picture. We decided to save it and turn it into a green covered boulevard. This way we save historical identity and solve problems of air pollution and hot sun in this area. Also, we saved the familiar function of market for this building. Here people can buy unusual things from workshops nearby.

Transport

The main function of this building is connection. Boulevard connects square with river shore and university campuses with each other creating comfortable and interesting space for walking. It is covered from sun but available for winds Street that crosses boulevard in the middle is uplifted to second level to divide streams of people.

Educational cluster

This picture represents my part of the team job of development CAGESP area - educational cluster. It is in the middle of the whole project area and includes learning campuses of different scientific and creative disciplines. Also, it contains shops, restaurants and bars for students and a green boulevard, that connects territory.

Functions in the area

This scheme made by our team shows main clusters, that we suggest to allocate for the territories, in each of which the determining value has a certain direction: creativity,

education, culture and rest, business and housing. Clusters interact with each other, giving people prosperities for rich and interesting life.

A-FRAME HOUSE

Location: Russia, Tatarstan, Riverside Year: 2021 Category: Concept project

This house was designed when I was dreaming about a cabin in a countryside. I looked for a simple project just for two people that can be easily built in one season and I liked an a-frame type of houses. And then I started to think, how can I improve it .

Inner space is designed in such a way as to preserve maximum amount of free space.

Using the same straight boards and bars it can get curved shape of the walls. Main room is divided into four zones. Bathroom is the only one separate room.

WATER HOUSE CONCEPT

Year: 2021

Category: concept project

This concept was created from an idea to make house in extremely natural forms with no right angles, as if it was naturally grown. I also tried to make it quite universal, so it could fit harmoniously in many landscapes

p.43 Water house

Structure and form

This concept house has unusual natural structure. There is kernel in the middle with “branches” that support the roof and the elevated part of house. Another component of structure is a curved shell, which relies on the branches from one side and drops to the ground from another. Floor like an outer shell has a completely curved form. All windows are made in curves of the shell. Under the elevated part of the house there is a terrace and a front door.

Model

Here are the photos of 3d printed model, that we made with my friend. Photo on the left side shows rooftop and the right one is a view from the ground. I spent a lot of time shaping curved forms in program and I was excited to see it for real.

p.44

Inner space

Interior of this house is one flowing space without doors and strictly divided rooms. Instead of rooms it has places (zones) for certain activities. On the first floor there is an entrance area with utility functions such as storage and workshop. Then stairs leading to the bath zone that takes all of the second floor. Third level is the main one, kitchen and living area and bedroom with shower are there Slightly curved floors and huge windows create a feeling that you are united with the environment.
