ESTHETICS
Our 450-hourEsthiologyprogramwillteachyoutrendsandspecializedtechniquesoncleansing, toning and revitalizing skin, as well as techniques in makeup application. Our hands-on training will also teach you to perform facials, waxing, body treatments, and makeup application techniques. What's even better is that our focus is on providing you with extensive personal, professional, and business- building skills, giving you the foundation, you need for a career as a licensed skin esthetician. The 450 hour course is instructed on a minimum of 15 hours per week, includedasindividualneeds,undertheWIsyllabus.

Transferstudents
Applicantsfortransferareconsideredonanindividualbasis.ILash&Aesthetics Proreservestherighttorefuseadmissiontoanystudentwhohasattendedother WisconsinBeautyschools.TheInstitutemay,atitsdiscretion,refusetransfer studentsifitsadmissionrequirementscannotbemet.Thetransferstudentmay berequiredtotakeaproficiency/practicalexamtodeterminestudent’s placementintheprogramand/orthedistributionofhoursearnedbysubject. Studentstransferringfromanothercosmetologyschoolmustprovideanofficial transcriptfromthepreviousschool.Amaximumof300clockhourswillbe accepted,additionalwillbeacceptedatthediscretionoftheschool.Thestudent willbechargedapercentageratebasedonhoursremaining.Thestudentwillbe chargeda$100.00registrationfee.Thestudentwillberequiredtopurchasea ILash&Aestheticsstudentkitandaschoolscrubs,andbooks,ifneeded.
Creditsforprevioustrainingwillbegivenonlyifcertifiedtranscriptispresented fromalicensedcosmetologyschool. Allcourseworkhoursandtuitionwillbe adjustedaccordingly. Allrecordofpreviouseducationwillbemaintainedinthe student’srecordfile.
Ifastudentwishestotransfertoanotherschool,he/shemustsubmitawritten noticewithin10dayspriortodeparturedate.Transferswillnotbeapproveduntil allfinancialagreementsarecurrent.
Re-entrystudents
Studentswhomayhavedroppedoutorbeendismissedfromschoolmayrequest re-entry.ThestudentmustmeetallpastfinancialcommitmentstotheInstitution. Inaddition,aletterofintentshouldbewrittentotheschooldetailingwhystudents wanttocontinuetheirstudies.Finally,ifthestudentisaccepted,theymustfinish thewholeapplicationprocedureandpayalladditionalcosts.

Thetotalcostoftheprogramforestheticsprogram:$6500 Includesthecostofthebooks,registrationfees,supplies,material,etc. Weacceptthefollowingformsofpayment:cash,cashiercheck,creditcard, DepartmentofWorkforceDevelopmentFinancialAssistance.
Studentscanprepaytheprogram'scostforthisenrollmentperiod,choosetopay onapaymentplan,orusefinancialassistance,ifavailable.
Fullprogrampaymentisrequiredtobeeligibleforyourstateexam.
Fullpaymentofallschoolfeesmustbepaidnotlessthanthirtydaysbeforethe contractanticipatedgraduationdate.Ifnotpaid,thestudentmaybesubjectto suspensionandtermination.Thispolicypertainstoallstudents,includingthose eligibletoreceivestatefunds.Institutewillnotsubmitlicensingrequirementsuntil studentaccountispaidinfull.
MonthlyInterestCharge
Iffullpaymentisnotmadeonorbeforeyourfirstscheduleddayofclass,a3% interestchargeisassessedeachmonthontheunpaidbalanceduetotheschool. Thischargewillbeaddedtoyouraccounteverymonthwhenyoustartyour program.
LatePayments
Ifastudentfailstomakeanypaymentwithinone(1)weekafteritisdue,thena) thetotaltuitionmaybecomeautomaticallydueandpayable,andb)theschool maysuspendthestudent'sattendanceandcertificateuntilthebalanceispaidin full.
PolicyonExtraInstructionalCharges
iLash&AestheticsProInstitute'spolicyallowsstudentsbelow100%attendance, avoidsovertimecharges,andmakesupanylosthoursaftercompleting60%of theirprogram.However,supposeastudentdoesnotcompletetherequiredhours foraprogrambeforetheirestimatedcontractedgraduationdate.Inthatcase, thestudentmustpayafeeforeachclockhourofinstructionaftertheirestimated graduationdate.Thecurrentfeeis$10/hour.
StudentTuitionAccounts
Studentswillgenerallyreceiveamonthlystatementoftheiraccount;however,students mayrequestacopyoftheiraccountstatementatanytime.Studentstypicallyreceivea copyoftheiraccountandapaymentreceiptwhentuitionpaymentsarereceived. PaymentsshouldbemadetotheSchoolAdministratororFinancialServicespromptlyto ensurethatyourenrollmentwillnotbeinterruptedduetonon-payment.
Studentswithadelinquentaccountof7daysormorewillbeplacedonfinancial probation.Theywillnotbeeligibleforfutureregistrationprivileges,certificates, transcripts,andotheracademicinformationuntiltheaccountissettledinfull.Payments shouldbemadetoiLash&AestheticsProInstitute,L.L.C.Paymentscanbemadeby cashiercheck,moneyorder,creditcard,orcash.Thereisa2.9%ConvenienceFeefor usingCreditandDebitCards.

Afullrefundofallmoniespaidbythestudentundertheenrollmentcontractshall bemadeif:

Thispolicyappliesregardlessofwhetherornotyouhavestartedyourtraining.Ifou wereacceptedforenrollmentbutwereunqualifiedforentrance.Ifanywrittenor theschoolmadeoralmisrepresentations.
PartialRefund
Forallstudentswhoseenrollmentendsbeforeyourfirstdayofclass,Ifyou withdraworaredismissedbytheschoolbeforestartingclasses,allmoniespaidby thestudentundertheenrollmentcontractshallberefundedexceptforthestudent kit,registrationfee,and$200.00withdrawalfee.
Forallstudentswhoseenrollmentendsonorafteryourfirstdayofclassandbefore graduation:
1.Byfederal,state,andaccreditingcommissionregulations,arefund/repayment calculationwillbeperformedwithin30daysofyourterminationtodetermine whethertheschoolmustreturn(refund)federalfundstothefederalstudentaid programonyourbehalf;whetheryoumustrepaythefederalgovernmentfora federalaidawardedtoyouwhichyoureceivedasacashpayment,butwerenot eligibleforasaresultofyourtermination,orwhetheryouowetheschoolabalance forunpaidchargesaccruedduringyourenrollment.
2.PercentageofEnrollmentTimemeansthenumberofclassdayselapsedfromthe startofthestudent'sattendanceuntilthestudent'slastdateofattendancedivided bythetotalnumberofclassdaystocompletethecourseofinstruction.
3.Institutionalchargesaretuition,registration,andclass/labfees.Non-institutional chargesaredefinedas,butnotlimitedto,kitfee,salestax,interestcharges,etc.
4.A$200.00withdrawal/terminationfeewillbeassessedtostudentswhose enrollmenthasbeenterminatedorwhovoluntarilywithdrew.

ToreceiveacertificatefromiLash&AestheticsProInstitute,astudentmust:
•Completetheprogram'srequisitenumberofhours.
•Finishallofyourprojects.
•Satisfactoryprogressisdefinedasan75%orhigherG.P.A.anda100%attendance rate.
•Completetheprogram'scourseofstudy,includingallexaminationsandprojects,with agradepointaverageof75%.
•Ensurethatallfinancialcommitmentstotheschoolaremetatleast30daysbefore theexpectedcompletiondate.
•Finishtheexitinterview.
•StudentswhocompletetheprogramwillgetaniLash&AestheticsProInstitute Certificate.

ATTENDANCE
Studentshavetohaveaminimumof 450hourstocompletetheprogram.For flawlessattendance,thestartandfinish datesofclassesaredetermined.After that,thestudentalsomustpursuetheir studyuntiltheyhavecompletedthe entirenumberofclockhoursrequired. HybridLearningPolicy
The hybrid distance education program policy outlines guidelines for students to attend class online while completing practical clinical hours on campus. Eligible students must have access to Microsoft Office and Zoom, reliable internet, and video capabilities. The curriculum includes online classes using Zoom for daily meetups, and Cima Milady curriculumsoftware,alongwithcampus-basedpracticalsessions.Studentsarerequiredto actively participate in both online and campus-based sessions to receive attendance credit. Academic integrity is expected, and students are responsible for meeting technical requirements, with school-provided support. The school will monitor attendance and participation, and the program will be periodically evaluated for effectiveness and improvement.
Gradingsystem
Students must have an academic grade point average of at least 75%. When students enrollinoneofourprograms,theyacknowledgethattheymustmeetthesetrequirements and produce results to graduate Attendance, collaboration, attitude, professionalism, and complete required assignments, projects, and assessments are required. StudentswhodonotachieveSatisfactoryProgressmaynolongerbeeligibleforanyawarded programfunds,ifapplicableunlessthestudentisonwarningorhasprevaileduponappealof thedeterminationthathasresultedinthestatusofprobation.Studentsmeetingtheminimum requirements for academics and attendance at the evaluation point are considered to be makingsatisfactoryacademicprogressuntilthesubsequentscheduledevaluation StudentshaveaccesstoahardcopyoftheirSatisfactoryProgressDeterminationatthetime ofeachevaluation.
TheAppealOfWarning&Probation
Students may appeal a failed satisfactory academic progress determination by filing a written appeal to the Administrative Director. Students must provide documentation regarding why they failed to make satisfactory academic progress. Valid reasons for submitting an appeal include, but are not limited to: illness or injuries, children's illness or injuries, death of a relative or friend, family emergencies, pregnancies, maternity/paternity leave, disabilities, or legal matters. Students must also explain what has changed in their situationthatwillallowtheachievementofsatisfactoryacademicprogressatthesubsequent evaluation. The Administrative Director reviews the appeal of a failed satisfactory academic progress determination If the appeal is approved, the student will have prevailed upon appeal resulting in probation status. The results of the appeal are documented in the student'sfile.

Studentsmustreportanabsencebeforetheirplannedstarttime,orevenwithin30 minsoftheirscheduledtime,whichevercomesfirst.Studentswhoaremissingon twodaysregularlymayrisksuspensionortermination Studentswhoareabsentfor threeconsecutivedaysatschoolandhavenotturnedintoreporttheirabsenceto theschoolauthorities,orstudentswhoareabsentforfourteen(14)continuous calendardays,shallhavetheirenrollmentcanceledorterminated.Inthissituation, youwillgetaletterfromtheschoolindicatingthattheschoolhasnotheardfrom youandthatyouhavebeendismissed.Atthisstage,thestudentmustcontactthe schooladministrationassoonaspossibletosubmittherelevantpapers.
LeaveofAbsence
Aleaveofabsenceisatemporaryinterruptioninastudent'sprogramofstudy.Itis offeredtostudentswhensituationsareencounteredthatrequireanextended amountoftimetobemissedfrominstitutesforamedicalconditioninwhicha physicianrequiresthestudenttobeoutofinstitute Aleaveofabsencemustbea minimumof30calendardays.Inordertoreturnfrommedicalleave,wewillneeda doctor'swrittennoticeofreadinesstoreturntoinstitutesandanylimitationsthat mightberequired.Foranyotherconcerns,ifastudentfeelstheyneedtotakea leaveofabsence,theauthorizationoftheleavewillbebaseduponadministrative discretion.
Astudent'srequestforaleaveofabsencemustbesubmittedinwritingonan InstituteLeaveofAbsenceform,signed,anddated.Thestudentmustincludethe reasonfortheleaveofabsence.Theremustbeareasonableexpectationthatthe studentwillreturnfromtheleaveofabsence.AstudentgrantedaLeaveofAbsence isnotconsideredtohavewithdrawn,andnorefundcalculationisrequired.TheLeave ofAbsenceandanyotherleavesofabsencemustnotexceed90days(calendar days)inanany-12monthperiod.
Whencalculatingthemaximumtimeframeforastudent'sapproved LOA,theinstitutesmustensurethatitaccountsforallperiodsofnonattendance (includingweekendsandscheduledbreaks).Thus,sinceanapprovedLOAmaynot bemorethan90days,theinstitutemighthavetoreducethelengthofastudent's LOAifthe90thdayisscheduledtofallonadaytheinstituteswillbeclosed.Theleave ofabsenceextendsthestudent'scontractperiodandmaximumtimeframebythe samenumberofdaystakenintheleaveofabsence.Thestudentreturningfroma leaveofabsencewillreturntoinstitutesunderthesameprogressstatusaswhen theyleft Theinstitutionmaynotassessthestudentforadditionalinstructional chargesduetotheleaveofabsence.Ifastudent'sleaveofabsenceextendsbeyond themaximumtimeframe(thedateofreturn)foraleaveofabsence,thestudentwill beconsideredawithdrawal.Thewithdrawaldatetocalculatearefundisalwaysthe student'slastdayofattendance.
Emergencies
Inthecaseofanemergency(fire,bombthreat,tornado,etc.),theschoolwill promptlycontactthelocalpolice/firedepartmentforhelp.Ifanemergencyscenario arises,students,employees,andcustomersmust:

Allstudentsmustrespectthattheywillbebookedwithclientsontheappointmentbook. Undernocircumstancesmayyourefuseortransferaclientunlessyouhaveinstructor approvalduetootherreasons.Youmustalsobeawarethatotherstudentsmightbeabsent onanygivenday;therefore,therearebookingchangesthattheclinicfloorInstructormust make.Refusingaclientwillbewrittenup,clockedout,andsenthomefortheday.Students areexpectedtobereadytoperformclientservicesby10:00am.Therefore,theymusthaveall theirtoolsandimplementsavailableandsanitized.
Partofyourtrainingincludesfrontdesktrainingandsalonshadowingandthisisan importantpartofyourtraining itwillhelptobuildyourcommunicationskills,telephoneand appointmentprotocolandprocedures,interactingwithothersinasalonenvironment, understandingproductknowledge,pricing,stocking,anddisplay,generalpublicrelations andmuchmore.Inaddition,youmayworkonyourmannequinandorbookassignmentsin thedeskareaforadditionalcredits.

Kit,BooksandSuppliesPolicy:
Onceyoureceiveyourbooks,kit,andsupplies,youareresponsibleforthem.The schoolwillissueyoutheseitems,youwillsignawaiver,andyouwillbeheld responsibleforanyitemsdamagedormisplaced.Theschoolwillnotbeheld accountableforreplacinganyitemsonceyoureceiveandsignforthem Theschool willdeterminekitdispensingandsupplieswillbereadilyavailablewhenneeded. WITHDRAWALANDATTENDANCE
IfastudentwishestowithdrawfromtheInstitutionoracourseofinstruction,they mustexplainwhytheyarewithdrawing.ThewithdrawalmustbesenttotheiLash& AestheticsProInstitute,7303WCenterAvenue,WauwatosaWI53212 Youhavethe righttowithdrawfromacourseofinstructionatanytimewithawrittennoticeof withdrawalmadetotheaddressoftheschoolshownonthefirstpageofthis agreement.Beadvisedthattheschoolmayalsomakeaconstructivewithdrawalofa student.
Studentswillbeexpectedtoarrivenolessthantenminutesbeforestartingaclass.. Studentswillbeexpectedtoregistertheirtimebysigninginandoutusingasignin sheets Instructorswillalsotakeattendanceatthebeginningofaclass,fora30minutelunchbreak,andattheendoftheclass.Studentsmustcalltheschoola minimumof15minutesbeforeascheduledstarttimeandnotifytheschoolofeach dayofabsence.Failuretoabidebythisrequirementwillresultinano-showor absencefortheday.Studentswhohavethreeormoreunexcusedabsencesinone monthwillreceiveawrittenwarningnoticeandmaybewithdrawndependingon priorabsencesandtheirattendancepercentage.Threeormorewrittenwarningswill qualifyastudentfordischarge.Studentswhohavethreeormoreno-showsor absencesduringtheirtrainingwillbedismissedwithoutadoctor'snote Duringthe Scholarphase(6weeks)forEsthetician,threeabsencesofanykindmayresultin discharge.Anyhoursmissedwillberequiredtobemadeup.

PROBATIONANDDISMISSAL
iLash&AestheticsProInstitutereservestherighttosuspendorterminateany studentwhoseconductisdeemedinappropriateanddisruptivetoinstruction. StudentswillbeexpectedtofullyobservepoliciesandrulesofconductofiLash& AestheticsProInstituteandallrequirementsoftheW.I.BoardofBarberingand Cosmetology.Suchconductincludesexcessiveabsencesortardiness;failureto maintainsatisfactoryprogress;inappropriatebehaviortowardanotherstudentor staffmember;failuretoabidebyschoolrulesandregulations;failuretomeet financialobligations;anyotherconductdeemedsufficientlydisruptiveofinstruction sothat,intheestimationoftheInstructor,AssociateDirector,andDirector,continued instructionisnotareasonableorconstructiveproposition.
Studentssuspendedorterminatedmayrequestreinstatementinwritingtothe Directorafterthirtydays.Decisionsonreinstatementwillbeatthesolediscretionof iLash&AestheticsProInstitute.
StudentGrievance/ComplaintProcedure
Thecomplaintprocedureisprovidedtothestudentpriortoenrollment.The procedurewilloutlinethestepstofileacomplaintandwillstatethatthe complainantisrequiredtotryandresolvetheproblemthroughtheschools’ complaintprocess,priortofilingacomplaintwiththeschools’accreditingagency. Theschoolwillmaintainwrittenrecordsofallcomplaintsfiledthroughtwocomplete accreditationcycles.
Procedure:
•Astudent,teacherorinterestedpartymayfileacomplaintagainsttheschool.The complaint mustbeinwritingtotheschoolowner/directorandmustoutlinetheallegationsor natureofthecomplaint Noadverseactionwillbetakenagainstastudentforfilinga formalcomplaint.•Theschool’scomplaintcommitteewillmeetwithin21calendar daysofreceiptofthecomplaintandreviewtheallegations.
•Ifmoreinformationfromthecomplainantisneeded,aletterwillbewrittenoutlining theadditionalinformationrequested.
