TIPS FOR SUCCESS

Here are some tips for this year’s conference. Come learn, enjoy, and have fun listening, participating and visiting our exhibit hall.

• Handouts: To get the handouts that presenters have shared with us, visit https:// bit.ly/Kinder23handouts. You may also scan the QR reader signs at the conference.

• WiFi: Get free WiFi access from the conference floor on Thursday and Friday. Open your browser and you’ll be able to log in. This free service will not apply to your hotel rooms.

• DO YOU HAVE YOUR IEIN NUMBER: Go to https://sec3.isbe.net/ IWASNET/login.aspx to access the ELIS site and get your Illinois Educator Information Number (IEIN). You are required to provide this number when registering for events to verify your Professional Development hours for licensure renewal.

• Badge: Your badge and tickets admit you to the sessions, ticketed concurrent sessions, lunch, and the Exhibits.

• Exhibition Floor: Exhibit hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Thursday & 7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

• Professional Development Hours: Check your email for a sign in link each morning. Fill out the questions and submit the form. You are now signed into the conference for the day! Check your email at the end of the day for the sign out form. Have your IEIN Number ready for the sign out form! Complete the questions and submit the form. You are now signed out for the day and have earned your Professional Development Hours. QR codes for sign-in/out are also posted around the convention center.
