INDUSTRIAL MASTERPLAN

Project responsibilities:

- Design Development

- Design Drafting

- Project Supervision

Partex Gypsum Industries worked with Chinton Architects Ltd in 2017 for the development of Industry masterplan including Site Office. The project had several challenges like undulated landscapes, narrow and onesided entry. Industry Standard design was another important factor in this project. The project had much awareness in fire safety since it was a Gypsum factory.

The chief architects along with Industrail engineers collaborated and designed a masterplan. As a part of project team, design drafting and 3D visualizing was my main task.

AGED CARE

Aged care center design and demand has been rising in Australia . Since the Elderly Population of Australia is accelerating at a good rate and a significant portion life are in the aged care environment. The seniors face loss of independence and homesickness after leaving their homes which triggers cognitive impairments, stress, and depression. Stress is the key to more complicated diseases, hence an environment which reduces stress and anxiety should be the prime focus during design. The most useful solution will be biophilic design, where health and wellbeing is improved using natural elements in the built environment.

The research focuses on how the patterns of biophilic design can enhance the overall wellbeing of the elderlies and employees.

The design progresses with the concept of fostering the sense of natural environment into aged care user groups through fabrication of biophilic inspired healing spaces. These healing spaces are achieved through green courtyards allowing rooms for ventilations in the building surroundings.

As The context of this study , biophilic design principles will be the key element of each spaces including them in programs which will be utilized by residents and care workers to improve the quality of living and quality of care.

The aged care facility will be developed for 75 people community.

The communities will get home like facility with the active essence of nature.

The premises will be divided into different zones and will be having a central zonefor community gathering. The design will be focused on:

1.Healing courtyard designs

2.Nurturing spaces

3.Connection with care workers and residents

4.Spaces that support a sense of affiliation/kinship

As The context of this study , biophilic design principles will be the key element of each spaces including them in programs which will be utilized by residents and care workers to improve the quality of living and quality of care. The interaction of both the users are the biophilic spaces will result in better mental well being. Using the principles f biophilic design the spaces will be linked to the three conditions of users. They are- stress ,mood and cognition. The research proves that the conditions will improve while the spaces designed followed the biophilic rules.

URBAN WATERFRONT

Main Beach Makers’ Workshop. A Revised Proposal for The Spit Master Plan is a revised proposition for one (The Southern Gateway) of the seven precincts which constitute the Spit master plan. The Queensland Government proposal for the master plan envisions a “low-rise future for The Spit in accordance with the current Gold Coast City Plan. This studio project encourages the students to explore the design challenge set by the Government for the Southern Gateway Precinct, which is envisioned as the entry to The Spit. The students are required to analyse the government vision and produce a counterproposal critically. The project provides the opportunity to engage with a specific local context and topical urban infrastructure project.

The Environment

One and only road entering from the south end, plays a vital role for the whole design idea. The west and northern boundaries consists of vacand green lands owned by the government department. Furthermore eastern side lays a medium sized water body in and out of the site boundary. The water body always plays a pivotal role in the design of the building.

The whole site is very cool and silent. The main urban highway is located about 1kilometers from the site entry. Thus a reduction of noise levels enhances the mode of the structure. Water bodies and green areas covers 70% of the total site area.

Project Rationale

The Planning

A sectional form was generated considering the initial zoning from references. Thus the first step of the planning processbecame clear. Then a complete mass was potrayed using the sketch media.

To conduct multidisciplinary research developing creativity is the field of film and television studies. Management, utilization and instrumentation for overall Film Institute. A great opportunity in participating for the design of proposed film institute at kalyanpur, as a strong zeal for the creation of spaces for the film crews.

MUSEUM OF KNOWLEDGE

Designing the museum of knowledge at the capitol complex was a bit challenging. As completing the work of a great architect it was very much enthusiastic and Of infinite thoughts and ideas. Finally after studying corbusiers philosophy Behind his designs ,a small clarity in sense developed ,we gathered informations About the capitol complex and its buildings ,and finally the idea of creating a Relation with the open hand tagline and image with the core definition of Knowledge was developed.Gradualy using his core philosophies in design we have Generated a solid form with proper conceptual readings

“Open to give ,open to receive”- the tagline clarifies the welcoming image of knowledge that needs no boundaries to explore. It signifies peace and tranquility among the shareholders of knowledge

The site of 1.6 acres is located to the northern fringe of the Capitol complex in chandigarh. The side surrounded by the open Hand monument at the east and assembly and secretary builing On the west. The site is about 10 feet high above ground level. The site consits of beautiful mountain range on the north Which creates much enthusiasm in designing the museum.

The form was generated as a three dimensional view Through various trial and errorsour first motto Was to make sure the design consisted the image of Approach -knowledge gain and sharethe form was Then placed at a suitable orientation according to Golden point theory and the idea of sharing Knowledge was reflected through the grand Circulation space.
