Infant Jesus Day

Infant Jesus Day is fast approaching and the P&F will once again be supplying our school community (students, staff and parents) with a free sausage sizzle. Students of the school have been catered for so please RSVP for your free sausage sizzle hUps:// forms.office.com/r/gJ7PMX97N2. We also need a few volunteers to assist on the day with cooking, packing and selling drinks. Please email Vanessa Gaw at president.pafc@gmail.com if you're able to assist.

Father and Son Camp is back for 2023!!

What’s been happening…

A very special welcome to all children and families who joined us this term .

We have had a great start to the term 3 with launch of global kid adventures. This term w e are looking at creating a more sustainable environment. Children are learning about the importance of preserving our environment and how important it is to follow the letter “R” - Recycle, Reuse, Reduce.

Throughout this term we will continue to help childr en become aware of diversity through cultural art and craft, global kid adventures and snack squad activities.

Coming Up

OSHClub Recipe Book

We are compiling healthy recipes that children love to make at OSHClub to support healthy eating practices and for children to take responsibility of their own health and wellbeing.

OSHClub Herb garden

We are planning to prepare our garden bed to create a vegie patch where children can grow their own vegetables and herbs. Children are participating in doing research for best herbs to grow in the coming season that could be used in our recipes aswell.

Rise then Shine.

Our morning programs are now called ‘Rise then Shine. which include global kid adventures, Zen master’s activities including yoga, body balance exercises and meditation.

Stay and Play

Our afternoon sessions are full of fun adventures. Children enjoy cooking for snack squad, explore nature and participate in intentional and spontaneous activities.

Children are enjoying yoga and body balance in rise then shine and super sports adventures during stay and play Kids Club members lead our Sports squad adventures.

Thank you, Addison and Brooklyn, for leading Kids club this term and for amazing teamwork and collaboration.

Recipe

Healthy Oats Cookies

1 Cup Instant or rolled Oats.

1/4 cup chickpea flour

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 Ts salt

1/2 Ts baking powder

1/2 Ts baking soda.

3 Tbs Raisins

1/2 cup brown sugar

3-4 Tbs Milk

Mix wet and dry Ingredients. Make small ball and spread It on a baking sheet. Press the ball into cookie shape Bake in the oven till cookies are golden brown and crispy!
