Dear God,
We ask that you guide us to be kind and compassionate to one another. Help us to see the good in everyone and to treat others with respect and understanding. We pray that you bless our school with a culture of kindness and compassion, and that we all strive to be our best selves.
Amen
Welcome to our Week 4 newsleUer.
This term is a very busy one with a lot of events for both students and families. PreparaGon for the First Communion is well underway, with the Parent meeGng and Commitment Masses occurring next week. Please keep the Year 4 children in your prayers.

On the 15 August, the Church celebrates the feast day of the AssumpGon of Our Lady. Please join us for Mass at 9am.
School photos are on Monday and Tuesday next week. All Year 1-6 children are to be in full winter uniform for their school photos on both days. Family photo order forms are available from the office and are to be brought in on the day.
CongratulaGons in advance to our School Choir who are parGcipaGng for the first Gme in the One Big Voice concert next Friday evening. We had a sneak peak at some of the songs they were performing at assembly this morning and we know that they will enjoy this unique experience.

We do understand that parking and movement around the school can be frustraGng at Gmes and we appreciate your support in helping keep everyone safe. If you are parking in the surrounding streets, please note the following offences which are listed in the City of Bayswater School Parking Guidelines:
• Parking over footpaths.
• Blocking driveways.
• Parking in a No Stopping or No Parking area.
• Double parking.
• Parking on a verge without the owner’s consent.
• Parking facing the wrong way.
• Leaving your vehicle in a drop off / Pick up area.
• Parking for longer than a sign permits.
All parents are invited to our P&F MeeGng next Tuesday (15 August) at 7pm in the Library. Our P&F are organising the Sausage Sizzle for Infant Jesus Day, the Rock and Pop Bingo and the AthleGcs Carnival stall this term and would love your support. The P&F are looking for donaGons of prizes for the Rock and Pop Bingo and we thank everyone who has donated already. Please see the informaGon in the newsleUer if you know of a business that could support us.

A reminder that Week 6 is Book Week, with the theme of ‘Read, Grow, Inspire’. The book fair is also running throughout Book Week in the Library.
We look forward to welcoming you to school on Friday 25 August for our Infant Jesus Day celebraGons.
