Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College - AME College in Delhi The IIA group's AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College) curriculum is now in compliance with CAR-147(BASIC). The institute has received approval from the DGCA Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, for AME licence categories B1.1 and B2, which cover heavy aircraft and turbine engines (Mechanical stream) and aircraft electrical instrumentation and aircraft communication and navigation systems, respectively (Avionics stream).

To obtain an AME B1.1 or B2 licence, a DGCA-approved training program that is CAR 147 (basic) compliant and lasts two years must be completed. During these two years of academic study, you will receive 2400 hours of theoretical and practical learning, as well as 360 hours of practical on-the-job training on any CAR 145 recognised flying organisation.
