the very first two Erik Håker and Merete Fjeldavlie, respectively on the men’s and ladies’ side, were the first two Norwegian alpine skiers reaching the top of a World Cup race. Erik won his first World Cup race in December 1971, while Merete won in March 1992. They are both invited to this year’s World Cup in Kvitfjell.
