SCPB ELECTION (CITY AND PROVINCE)

“We can do more and we will do more.”

The year 2020 did not go easy upon us all. We faced a lot of overwhelming changes that challenged our faith, courage, dedication, patience, and hope. But these happenings in our world did not stop the scouting movement, especially the Iloilo Girl Scout Council.

Every year, the Iloilo Girl Scout Council conducts a Senior Cadet PlanningBoard election but the 2020 election was different due to the COVID 19 pandemic. On September 5, 2020, the Iloilo Girl Scouts had its first-ever virtual election via Zoom for the new SCPB officers with a different set of officers representing the Iloilo City and the Province of Iloilo.

Senior and Cadet Planning Board officers are the chosen scouts underIloilo Girl Scout Council. to lead on event implementations and projects such as virtual camping, tree planting, relief operations, and more.

The SCPB officers were divided into two sets, the SCPB Province and SCPB City respectively. On the 17th of October 2020, a new set of Officers were announced. These sets of Officers were composed of 14 dedicated girls from the City, 14 brave girls from the province, and with two supportive advisers.
