Every year around this time, it is always exhilarating to take a look at the iGaming affiliate space and reflect on key events that have shaped the industry over the course of the year. Technology, mobile gaming and social media are spearheading considerable growth within affiliate marketing, and research done by Nielsen Media shows that online gaming is more popular than Facebook. In the last year alone, this same report found that 3.2 million people visited various online gaming sites, a 40 percent increase from the previous year. Further broadband penetration, regulation and product evolution will continue to contribute to an increased surge within the iGaming space, with online gaming market penetration expected to reach nine percent by 2012, according to a recent study by Deutsche Bank. In 2010, the online gaming space has been awash with advancements in the regulation of new markets, consolidation and mergers and a shift in market dynamics. Victors Affiliates The affiliate program at Victor Chandler is undergoing something of a revolution as it modernises its offering with new commission structures, up-to-date communications channels and a new payment processing system. This is just a small portion of the work being done over in Gibraltar by Affiliate Manager David James and his team and will be further enhanced by a new advertising campaign to boost its market profile.
Victory Poker Affiliate Program The ambitious poker site started up by a team of poker pros spearheaded by Antonio Esfandiari, is promising a similarly ambitious and generous affiliate package for its partners. The program offers between 8% and 15% on rakeback players and a further 33% rakeback on bonus players and as poker affiliate programs go, this could be an interesting one to watch heading into the New Year.
Virgin Games Affiliates Celebrating its fifth year of operation, the Virgin Games affiliate program, under the stewardship of Pierrick Leveque, has regularly been on the shortlist for ‘best affiliate program’ awards throughout the industry and 2011 is no different.
