Dear IFMSA members, We are glad to announce that the V4 conference will be held this year as well! This year will take place from 28. 3. to 31. 3. in Ostrava, Czech Republic. *The V4 Conference 2019: Humanitarian and Military Medicine*. V4 Conference is a unique project by International Federation of Medical Students' Associations - a medical conference for the students, by the students. Our topic is medicine in extreme conditions - our speakers will share their knowledge and experience of working in humanitarian, disaster and conflict environment. Plethora of workshops, lectures and seminars are prepared for participants.

program The conference program will consist of practical workshops and lectures. There will be two set´s of workshops. First set of workshops will focus on practical health skills. As this is a primary student-focused conference, and we would like to keep up with the theme event. The second set will focus on strategic and logistic balance. The goal is to guide participants to think about the complexity of providing care not only from a health but also from an organizational point of view.
harmonogram - 28th. is arrival day with opening ceremony. - 29 - 30th are filled with lectures and workshops that will be led by speakers from WHO, MsF etc. - 31st - will end with few workshops. Mainly it will be leaving day.

LOCATION The V4 conference will be held on March 28 and ends on 31st of March 2019. Among the Czech cities, Ostrava was chosen for the presence of the Faculty of Medicine, activity of the local students, the possibilities of the city, from the perspective of the logistics of the event, and last but not least, its strategic location with other participating states. Participants will be accommodated in Clarion Hotel, which thanks to its capacity allows for a comprehensive coverage of conference needs, including conference and catering.

Application The registrations are consist of 3 periods. First period is for V4 countries, this period will run from 31. 1.2019 until 14. 2. 2019. In this period, each country has a limit for 50 participants. Second period is for whole Europe. From 20. 2. 2019 until 4. 3. 2019. In this period there is no limit for any country and the fastest ones will be selected. Third period will run from 8. 3 - 14. 3. 2019. This period is intended for non European countries. For these we will reserve 20 places, so they will have chance to join this event.
Course fee Fees are not yet established, because we are still waiting for sponsors and grants, it will be between 50 to 70â‚Ź.
