Co-Chairperson of the Local General Assembly Firstly, I would like to thank all the staff for putting so much effort into this event, without you the event could not be possible. To start off, Local General Assembly is an incredible opportunity for Thai medical students to connect and get to know IFMSA more. As a co-chairperson, it is noteworthy to remind that IFMSA is not just an after-school club but it is a platform which allows all medical students to be global change agents regardless of the border of differences.

Co-Chairperson of the Local General Assembly Not too long ago, I had a chance to join the IFMSA March Meeting 2021 where I was fascinated with the wide range of opportunities that IFMSA offers. It serves as a platform that connects medical students together to create a positive impact through its Standing Committees. I am beyond excited that we can bring this opportunity to a local level with IFMSA Ramathibodi. Special thanks to all the staff and participants for making the Local General Assembly come true.

Local Committee President The Local General Assembly will mark IFMSA Ramathibodi first step towards global health decolonization. In this event, we expect to introduce IFMSA and how we as IFMSA members can advocate for global health issues as well as to strengthen global health education at the local level. Since IFMSA Ramathibodi is committed to provide our fellow medical students with skills needed to lead changes in society, this first-ever LGA will truly serve our commitment.

IFMSA Ramathibodi represents Ramathibodi medical students in International Federation of Medical Students Associations Thailand (IFMSA-Thailand) which is Thai representative organization of IFMSA.

IFMSA Ramathibodi เปนตัวแทนของนักศึกษาแพทย์รามาธิบดีใน สมาพันธ์นิสต ิ นักศึกษาแพทย์นานาชาติแห่งประเทศไทยหรือ IFMSA - Thailand ซึงเปนองค์กรตัวแทนประเทศไทยในสมาพันธ์ นิสต ิ นักศึกษาแพทย์นานาชาติหรือ IFMSA

Vision : A world where every single individual is entitled to full and equal access to their rights to express and cherish regardless of their socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, age, or language.

วิสย ั ทัศน์ : โลกทีทุกคนไม่วา่ จะมีสถานะทางสังคมใด เพศอะไร อายุ เท่าไหร่และใช้ภาษาอะไร มีสท ิ ธิเท่าเทียมกันในการทีจะแสดงออก และก้าวไปข้างหน้า

Mission : To offer Ramathibodi medical students as the future healthcare professionals the platform to learn, grow, and share their ideas, and to provide them with the tools necessary to advocate for social issues including global health, public health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, human rights, peace, climate change, social equity, youth engagement, and education.

ภารกิจ : สร้างแพลตฟอร์มในการเรียนรูแ ้ ละแลกเปลียน ประสบการณ์ให้กับนักศึกษาแพทย์รามาธิบดี รวมไปถึงให้ความรูแ ้ ละ ประสบการณ์ทีจําเปนสําหรับการร่วมแก้ไขปญหาทางสังคมต่างๆ ได้แก่ ปญหาสุขภาพ ระบบสาธารณสุข สิทธิมนุษยขน ความสงบสุข ภาวะโลกร้อน ความไม่เท่าเทียมกันในสังคม การมีสว่ นร่วมของ เยาวชน และการศึกษาในแง่มุมต่างๆ

SCOME , one of IFMSA’s first committees, aims to tackle different issues related to medical education and strives to push medical students to become important stakeholders in the decision-making chain of medical education systems. .

SCORA, the Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Including HIV and AIDS, is a gathering of medical students who aim to promote sexual and reproductive health and rights and strive to create positive change in our society that is inclusive to everyone despite their genders and sexuality.

The Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) brings together medical students from all over the world to learn, build skills, cooperate, explore and share ideas when it comes to addressing all issues related to public health, including global health issues, health policies, health promotion and education activities.

The Standing Committee on Professional Exchange aims to promote cultural understanding and cooperation among medical students and healthcare professionals.

SCOPE gives medical students the opportunity to learn about global health and promote culturally-sensitive medical students. .

The Standing Committee on Research Exchange aims to provide medical students with the opportunity to experience doing research while in medical school.

Furthermore, SCORE aims to introduce medical students to the basic principles of conducting research while at the same time gaining an unforgettable culture learning experience.

IFMSA Ramathibodi has 3 task forces in addition to 6 standing committees since we believe that most of the global health challenges and youth engagement require multisectoral approach. Currently we have 3 task forces including Climate Change Task Force (CCTF), Youth Engagement Task Force (YETF) , and Social Equity Task Force (SETF).

Discription ในกิจกรรมนีผูเ้ ข้าร่วมทุกคนจะได้เเบ่งกลุ่มกันเพือไปเล่น minigame ในกลุ่ม ตัวเองเพือทีจะเปนการละลายพฤติกรรมเเละสร้างความคุ้นเคยกับผูเ้ ข้าร่วม คนอืน เพือทีจะสามารถเข้าร่วมทํากิจกรรมได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึน In this session, participants will take part in their separate group activities which mainly include playing minigames. The objective of this session is to let participants get more comfortable around each other so that a safe and enjoyable environment is created for everyone. As a result, participants can take part in other activities more effectively.

Plenary 1 Introduction to IFMSA and Standing Committees

ในกิจกรรมนีเราจะพาผูเ้ ข้าร่วมมาทําความรูจ้ ก ั กับองค์กร IFMSA ในภาพรวม ถึงจุดประสงค์ขององค์กร และการทํางานภายในองค์กร ก่อนทีจะนําไปสู่ Standing Committee หรือคณะกรรมการในแต่ละด้าน ของ IFMSA ว่ามีความแตกต่างกันอย่างไรและมีการจัดกิจกรรมอะไรบ้าง In this session, we will introduce you to IFMSA and its Standing Committee. The session will go through an overview of IFMSA with its structure and how it is operated. Then, the highlights of this session will be the Standing Committees which are the main pillar of IFMSA internal structure.

SCOPH Parallel Session

ผูเ้ ข้าร่วมจะได้เรียนรูถ ้ ึงหลักการพืนฐานของการส่งเสริมสาธารณสุข รวมทังแนวทางการแก้ไขปญหาในรูปแบบต่างๆอย่างเหมาะสม จากนันกิจกรรมจะเปดโอกาสให้ผเู้ ข้าร่วมพู ดคุย แลกเปลียนความรู ้ ความคิดเห็น เพือค้นหาแนวทางการแก้ไขปญหาสาธารณสุขของโลก ร่างนโยบายสุขภาพ เพือส่งเสริมสุขภาพอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ Participants will learn the principle of health promotion, including the right solution to encounter each issue. Open floor discussion is also initiated, allowing participants to exchange ideas and search for the solution to the problems regarding global health issues. By drafting health policies, promotion of health will be done more effectively.

กิจกรรมนีจะพาให้คณ ุ ได้ลองสัมผัสกับ safe space หรือ พืนทีให้แลก เปลียนความคิดเห็นอย่างอิสระอย่างที SCORA เปนให้กับสมาชิกและทุก คนในสังคม ผูเ้ ข้าร่วมจะได้เรียนรูเ้ กียวกับประเด็นต่างๆทีอยูภ ่ ายใต้ SCORA ผ่านการโต้วาทีขนาดย่อมทีทุกคนจะมีอิสระในการแสดง ความคิดเห็นอย่างไม่ต้องกลัวทีจะถูกตัดสิน This parallel session will introduce you to the safe space which SCORA provides to all members and people in the society.

Participants will learn more about the topics that SCORA covers through mini debating where everyone is free to express their opinions.

ปจจุบน ั มีปญหามากมาย คิดเหมือนกันไหม ใน SCORP parallel session เราจะพาคุณมาช่วยกันระดมสมองว่าปญหาเหล่านันมีอะไรบ้างตังแต่ระดับ พืนทีไปจนถึงสากล หลังจากนันทุกคนจะได้เลือก 1 ปญหาจากทีคิดไว้เพือ นํามาใช้ประกอบการคิดวิเคราะห์ต้นเหตุปญหาผ่าน Global Citizens Construct Model ทุก ๆ คนจะได้มโี อกาสในการคิดทางออกของปญหาเชิง นโยบาย SCORP ไม่ได้สนใจแค่การเมืองนะทุกคน! ยังมีดา้ นอืน ๆ อีก มากมายเลย!

There are a number of world issues nowadays, don’t you think?

In SCORP parallel session, we will be brainstorming social problems from the domestic to international level. The topic will be voted to be discussed via Global Citizens Construct Model.

Participants are encouraged to come up with possible actions to resolve the problem. SCORP does not focus on the political sector solely, but there are other than that!

In this session, we will be giving an overview of Open Science and the impact it has on the medical research community as a whole and how you, as future physicians, can help make your crafted knowledge accessible to everyone.
