We all like to travel in some or different way; as beings we are all like to explore, meet, and learn and a good trip can offer you a huge learning. As I wrote above there are different ways of traveling a slew of ways, and actually I have this fierce of getting to know all kinds of places around the globe from my own town visiting the secretly corners in it to the rare idea of hiking the Highlands in Scotland or even to doing some snorkel in uncharted waters in Australia.

They may sound like nonsense, but there are some of us that are made for traveling, and definitely I consider myself one of many; and why not? You can also start being a loose-leg, as my brother always says “If you can why I can´t ”. Getting back to the point; Folks, I am going to start my first adventure and this can be made by backpacking and as a good connoisseur I am going to start my first aim of my bucket list in my own country, indeed, Mexico. Due to the fact that I am shorted and I still a teen I need a sort of a professional adventure companion, this case isn’t professional but it is half of it, it will by my sibling.

The trip consists on visiting Yucatan and Quintana Roo, Mexico. And as I am known for my non-procrastinate way of been, surprise! The schedule is all ready done. The itinerary starts waking up early at 8:30-9:00 am., take a bath, put on our tennis shoes and get breakfast be ahead to start a day-adventure. Just a sort of a trooper; we will have to take our way on and go backpacking and step by foot until we get to see real sceneries and the grandiose Mayan ruins.

Reader, do not hasten, there’s also the beautiful beaches and coasts in these magnificent-land and they are also on our list and don’t forget the magical “Cenotes”. This land isn’t the Technicolor world named Oz, but it is something similar. We have real sceneries waiting for us to see and appreciate. Still we don’t know the exact day of our departure, but it will be starting on July 2013. As well, we are waiting to all kinds of company as friends, relatives or anyone who wants to join us, so if you reader want to

Encountering another culture when travelling will certainly be quite a chal-

lenge for all those who wish to travel around the world. I assure you that these kinds of opportunities are unparalleled by any others so you shouldn't hesitate to give them a chance.

I'm currently a student of a foreign language and recently I decided to take the opportunity to travel to Montreal with 2 schoolmates to behold the wonders of another culture different to mine and to take French classes in the process. Before taking the blind step into a different new world, I prepared myself by studying French so that I could communicate easily with the locals, but things didn't go as one expects them to happen.

When I first arrived I was shocked by everything that surrounded me. Everything seemed different; people, buildings, weather, and even plants. Putting aside all my conceptions of the new culture I was about to face I decided to try my knowledge of French with a native speaker. For this, I got closer to a taxi driver to request some help with the luggage and was prepared for anything he would say. Of course I knew what I was saying, but at the moment I heard him talk I was dumbfounded. I could perceive he was talking and moving his lips, but I couldn't understand a single thing. Shocked by this unexpected situation I became aware that something was wrong. Immediately I shifted my language to English and asked again. Fortunately, this time I could hear what I wanted to hear very clearly but I remained ashamed of my defeat. Finally we arrived at the department where we would stay for 1 month.

It was a nice little cozy apartment. It seemed well equipped and quite spacious in the inside and the owner greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived. We could still not understand French so we did business with English. Later we unpacked everything and went out to explore the surroundings. Luckily, our apartment was very well located in the city. Near us we had the metro station which is considered to be one of the fastest ways of transportation and some museums and botanical gardens 3 blocks ahead. At the distance we also spotted some bicycles which you could loan for some hours, days, and even months so I suddenly felt safe and excited at the same time. Anyway, we returned home to rest because on first day we had to go to school very early.

On Monday at 8:30 we arrived at school and took our initial exam so that teachers could determine which classes we would take. I ended up being level 4 which is not quite bad because that meant I was doing well with my French. In my classroom I met people from all over the world and with different ages, but that was not a barrier to start making friends. We got along very well and they helped me a lot by telling me useful information about Montreal. I guarantee that without them I wouldn´t have learned so many things. When we finished classes, we would often return home to prepare some food we bought at a nearby store and later we would explore the immense city we lived in. On the street you would face lots of people from different parts of the world and lots of stores of many kinds. It was a multicultural space at its best. We also had the chance to go to field trips many times. We couldn’t waste a single opportunity for discovering everything Canada would offer us. We went to a famous cascade, to Quebec, to some important museums, and we even took part in Canada Day at Ottawa.

You could say there were countless things to do. Also, during some nights, street performers would often give a show demonstrating their physical abilities or their perceptions of dance and music joint together in a kind of professional play. Everything was just too perfect to fit in that city. Everyone was gentle and kind enough to help you with anything you would request. Sometimes, some people would even invite you for a drink or an event nearby. But my unsolved issues with French still remained. Not even my comrades were able to understand that kind of dialect from Canada which was too fast and too different respecting pronunciation and grammar, but that was just a little drop in the glass.

On the other way, food was quite tasty; the kind of flavor you would crave for in moments of hunger. It had an original taste I had never savored before; truly a masterpiece worthy of Gods, and you could choose from a variety of styles with the same result everywhere. Unfortunately, I must admit everything was a little too expensive to afford so I had to manage carefully my expenses. Whatsoever, it was totally worth it. Since I got tired every day of so many activities I had to eat as a king as a reward for my effort.

All of this happened in only 1 month. There were so many things I couldn't visit because there wasn't enough time and so many things I did which I will remember my whole life. I recognize it was a great challenge even with my comrades there to help me, but I assure you it was totally worth it. Every second, every friend, experience, and memories you'll make when travelling abroad are completely priceless. It takes real courage to take a step out of the comfort of your home to face new challenges and face new cultures, and one thing is clear, you will not regret it in life because you never cease to be amazed by this great thing called life, so take your chance when you're able to because you don't know what you're missing and time doesn’t forgive so easily.

“Did they really love each other?”

I believe this is the first question we should ask ourselves each time we read/watch the play, watch Baz Luhrmann´s modernized movie version, or just whenever we think about them.

For generations, they have been regarded as the prototype of selfless love, the kind in which one can give his or her life for the other without question. For them, there was simply no purpose in living in a world where the loved one does not exist. But one could ask whether what Romeo and Juliet felt for each other was, in fact, love or not. After all, the only reason why Romeo was in the ball where he met Juliet was that his friends persuaded him into it, seeking to distract him off the depression he was into because he loved another girl, Rosaline, who did not love him back. At the ball, he meets Juliet and they fall in love instantly upon seeing each other. We do not HEAR ANOTHER WORD ABOUT Rosaline until the hero comes to Friar Laurence in order to ask him to celebrate the weeding between Romeo and Juliet. The bewilders the friar, so he asks Romeo: “Is Rosaline, whom thou didst love so dear, so soon forsaken?” to which Romeo responds: “I pray thee, chide not; she whom I love now doth grace for grace and love for love allow; other did not so.”

So Romeo doesn´t love Rosaline anymore and loves Juliet instead. One has to remember that this occurred from one day to the nezt one, there was that much time between Romeo ‘loving’ Rosaline so passionately that he hid in the woods to cry and him ‘loving’ Juliet so much that he would marry her and, eventually, die for her.

This leads us to the aforementioned question but, in order to even try to answer it, we should first ask ourselves what ‘to love’ means, or perhaps what love is in general.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines Love as a “strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties […], [an] attraction based on sexual desire: affection and tenderness felt by lovers […], [or an] affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests.” so maybe the relationship between Romeo and Juliet could accordingly fall in the category of the second definition of love, the affection and tenderness felt by lovers out of sexual desire, but so could do every relationship based on two people sharing an association out of mutual affinity, desire and concern. Then why is it that we don´t hear of people falling in love at the first sight, willing to die for one another, very often? Well, it may be that the answer is not in the dictionary, or even in the whole English language.

Ancient Greek had different words for what we now call love, and each of them had different meanings and connotations. It had, for instance, Storage, which is the love for family and relatives; Philia, which referrers to fraternal love, that which is felt for a friend or a community and on which Aristotle based his idea of love for others as a virtue; it also had Eros which is defined as love with passion or desire for another person, although Plato argued that Eros could be divided into two different stages of love, the first –Vulgar Eros–

would be the desire felt for another person because of their physical beauty, this one could ultimately transform into the second stage or Divine Eros, which was an appreciation of Beauty without the context of sexual arousal, in other words, the love for the Supreme Beauty of something or someone, the so-called Platonic Love; and finally it had Agape which true love, one that is deeper than Eros (this would be true only regarding the sexual nature of Eros, without taking into account the delving of it that Plato made in his ´Symposium´ dialogue) and which can be compared to the very strong affection felt for offspring or a spouse, also detached from sexual desire, this would be the selfless, unconditional feeling of being content in relation to the other person´s happiness and well-being, powerful enough to consider selfsacrifice in order to achieve this two goals, that is why Christian authors and theologists have compared it to the love of God for mankind.

As one can see, these four definitions, even though they overlap with each other, represent very different aspects of what we call love nowadays. Giving the sacrificing nature of Agape, one could think that this could be the one felt by Romeo and Juliet, but we also know that the love felt by both was not devoid of sexual desire –after all, they do share a wedding night together– so it may be that their real feeling was Eros, that overwhelming passion felt for other person that clouds the reason and strips it from all defences. As we can see, it is difficult to accurately point at what these lovers really felt.

If we want to analyze this from a psychological point of view, we could go to the modern studies of lover made by psychologist Dorothy Tennov. In them, she proposes a new term called limerence, which could be defined as the strong affection felt for someone, coupled with the powerful need for reciprocation of these feelings. In principle, it wouldn´t be very different from infatuation, also popularly know as ’puppy love’, in which the person affected feels a strong admiration for the object of his or her romantic attention, so much that he or she ignores any defect and overly highlights any quality that the person may posses, nonetheless, unlike infatuation, limerence has the tendency to evolve and ’crystallize’ from attachment into affection. This, apart from being very similar or Plato´s stages of Vulgar Eros and Divine Eros, can also explain the difference between being in love with someone and actually loving that person.

So, were Romeo and Juliet the sufferers of such limerence?

One could possibly argue so. In this context, what Romeo felt at the beginning of the play for Rosaline could be categorized as a passing by infatuation that wouldn´t last too long if Romeo was separated from the idea of Rosaline for enough time. Accordingly, Romeo would then start feeling the first stage of limerence when he first saw Juliet at the ball and then, maybe too quickly, evolve into the second stage of it upon noticing the reciprocity of this feelings in her, passing from attachment to affection (or from Vulgar Eros to Divine Eros, if you prefer) where nothing is more important than the conservation of the relationship and the well-being of the limerent object—the loved one-; Juliet would go through a similar process.

But, as we questioned before, how was it possible for them to pass from a simple like to a whole true love in such a quick manner? Would this actually be possible in real life? Let Philosophy enters again. Right at the prologue of the play, Shakespeare lets us know that this was a relationship forged by destiny by saying: “From forth the fatal loins of these two foes [Montague and Capulet] A pair of star-cross’d lovers take their life.” This makes clear that Romeo and Juliet’s relationship was always predetermined to have a morbid ending, a tragedy arranged by the stars.

From the point of view of the characters, all that they perceive and feel is real, and all of these perceptions and emotions are determined by the writer of the play (the stars and destiny). This could lead to the idea that the rules of our own world -our own reality- don’t apply to the reality of the characters, thus making any attempt at analyzing their situation from our point of view - philosophically, sociologically and psychologically speaking- totally invalid.

But if we took that approach, then we could also extend it to our own reality, making any attempts at analyzing any aspect of our own relationships invalid, since each person’s perceptual experience is unfathomably different from individual to individual (i.e. Who can say, for sure, that what my eyes perceive as blue, your brain would interpret it also as blue, instead of what would be my pink?).

Therefore, the only certainty that we have left is that what I perceive and feel as real is real for me; and what you perceive and feel as real is real for you. It is then that we can come to the conclusion that if Romeo and Juliet felt that what they were going through was Real and True Love, it was within their own personal reality. That would also explain why it is so difficult to explain what love feels like to a person who has never been in love; almost all of us had been in that situation but few of us could explain it accurately: The longing for the other person, the palpitations felt when one talks to her, the sneaky thoughts of her that slip into our minds every other minute, the necessity of doing all that is within our reach to make her happy. It’s not easy to put into words all the sensations that surround these feelings; only one who has been through something similar would understand them, because both share a similar reality and can relate to each other.

It is in this way that, in the humble opinion of the writer of this article, the answer to the first and main question treated here is: “Yes, and most profoundly.” It really doesn’t matter what the name given to their feelings is, be it Love, Agape, Eros, Infatuation or Limerence. After all, as our dear William would say through the lips of Juliet: “What’s in a name? that which we call a rose

By any other name would smell as sweet.”

So love would feel as overwhelming and beautiful as it does even if it had any other name.

Saint Patrick´s

Saint Patrick´s Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on March 17, the anniversary of the death of great saint. Saint Patrick is the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland. The day is generally characterized by the attendance of church services and the wearing of green attire.

Saint Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three-lived plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish. Saint Patrick´s feast day, as a kind of national holiday, was already being celebrated by the Irish in Europe in the ninth and tenth centuries. Saint Patrick´s Day although not a legal holiday everywhere in the United States, is nonetheless widely recognized and celebrated throughout the country.

For example, Saint Patrick´s Cathedral in New York City is located in downtown Manhattan. It was designed in the Gothic Revival style. It was completed in 1878. It can accommodate 2,200 people. It sure is a place that you would like to visit the next time you visit the big apple.

In 2008 I had the opportunity to visit Europe again after 12 years, together with

High school student

my family. I was expecting to go to my hometown, London, but we got lucky and went to four other countries instead. We visited Germany, Austria, Italy and France.

We took a plane from Houston to Frankfurt, Germany. It was an amazing experience, and it felt like it were the first time because I was just a year old last time I travelled by plane. I could see the clouds and fields from high above. Frankfurt airport is one of the most important airports in the entire world, it is really big.

When we landed a friend of my father picked us up and drove to Karlsruhe, it is a beautiful city with lots of amazing buildings. My dad was working on some projects there, so I got to visit the building he was working on.

We stayed in a town near-by called Odenheim, where my Dad’s friends lived. The town is full of antique buildings and houses with tons of flowers here and there, but there were also modern houses and clubs. While we lived there, we used to go around the town on a bike. It was a fun and safe thing to do, the drivers in Germany are so careful and respectful to the bicyclists. I just enjoyed it.

My adventurous dad was desperate to visit many other cities in Germany… so we took our bicycles inside the Regional train and started our unforgettable journey. We visited cities like Nürnberg, an absolutely wonderful city. After the little trip around Germany we visited Colmar and Strasbourg. So we went all the way down from Odenheim to France (crossing the Rhine river)… on our bikes. At first I was mad, I did not want to do it but nothing could change my dad´s mind. I actually regret nothing about traveling on a bike with my family, even though we ended up extremely exhausted due to the weather.

Our next adventure was travelling to Austria and Italy, fortunately, this time was by car. First, we arrived to Austria and stopped by the Neuschwanstein Castle; this was probably the best experience I had in Europe. The town was extremely beautiful, words are not enough to describe such beauty. For entering the Neuschwanstein Castle we needed to walk an inclined path surrounded by tall and very green pine trees. There were also carriages, horses and fancy restaurants on the way to the Castle. The entrance was majestic; there were a lot of tourists paying for their tickets to enter. When entering through the gate, we could see the exterior of the Castle itself. To be honest, the castle looked much bigger in the pictures, but still, it was an amazing place. The weather was a bit cold, but I loved it. I´m not a fan of the warm weather.

Then, we continued on our way to Italy. We arrived to Trieste where the good old friends of my parents lived, they were so happy to see us after 16 years. We visited the Miramare Castle where Emperor Maximilian with his wife Charlotte and we got to see the interior of the Castle, the gardens and paths. We also visited Rome, Florence and Venice, another three beautiful cities.

I must say we didn’t spend the nights at the hotels, they were really expensive, instead, we stayed in the famous “bed and breakfast” hostels. Travelling around Europe was a truly great experience I’ll never forget. We must thank the university where my dad works which paid all the airplane tickets, because he was sent to work in Europe in Summer.

Otherwise, I think I wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to go.

I tried to enjoy every single moment there, because I don’t know if I’ll ever go again anytime soon, but who knows? Maybe next time I’ll get to visit my hometown.

Hi, my name is Carlos and I just joined a fabulous, amazing,

charming and unique group of young people called Misiones.

The truth is a great amount adjectives can be used to praise while describing the beauty of living an experience like this. It changed my life for real: my perspective of life was affected for good and the feeling toward the passionately love that God offers us day by day as life goes on.

But, what does a missionary really do? To make this clear let me tell you my great adventure to Tampamolón, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

This stunning, incredible trip started when a friend of mine told me about this joyful experience. She invited me to be part of it and without hesitating I just said: yes, why not? I didn’t even know what I was going to do or feel. The only thing I knew was that I was going to leave my home, family and friends for a complete long week; t6hat all my time, love and tiredness was about to be dedicated to people that maybe I would only see once in my entire life.

The time arrived and I didn’t know anybody but my friend. Honestly, I felt so alone and afraid of what could happen during that whole week, but somehow at ease. I had the feeling that everything would end up in the best way possible. Soon I learned my role as missionary consisted of going to a community with low resources. Among the most important duties of the week we had to share the Gospel and give the liturgy.

We also had other activities for the whole week, including talks and dynamics for kids, adolescents and adults. Let me tell you one thing, although playing with kids is the most exhausting thing in the world you have to trust me, this is worthwhile. Seeing those small, smiling faces made my heart feel complete. Also, we had to visit: “Visiteo” which meant we went to each family of the community. We played the tambourine and sang, talked with the family and played with their children, prayed together and thanked them for the hospitality.

During the whole week I had the opportunity to meet such beautiful people that without knowing us, they opened their homes to us, share their food and time while doing everything possible to make us feel comfortable. Even when I went there to serve and give everything I could, at the end I did receive more than what I had given. It is a lesson of life that I would never ever change for anything else. Now I feel closer to God, I met a lot of people and I made lots of friends.

Error, correct ion and feedback in t he classroom

Professor Jorge Torres Almazán presented the talk entitled “Feedback in the Classroom” on behalf to all the

members of the Language Department at IEST on February first. Such presentation was carried out in order to function as a single date training session for the teachers of the above mentioned department.

Professor Torres Almazán considers an assertive Feedback in the Classroom is an angular stone for effective development in the teaching learning process. In order to prove his points, he presented the different some of kinds of feedback to be observed at the classroom.

Depending on the situations in the classrooms as well as the student requesting the feedback; the correct kind of feedback must be used in both correct time and tone. Therefore, doing so will bring the students a confident state regarding the content of the class and their own recently acquired knowledge. This also implies that feedback must cover important points such as the use for the information given during class.

Among the different kinds of feedback mentioned by Professor Torres Almazán we can mention twice in a sentence: clarification requests, recasts, felicitations, meta-linguistic feedback, explicit correction and repetition.

Language teachers of the Department consider that they already apply the types of feedback mentioned by Professor Torres according to both conditions mentioned at the beginning of the paragraph above. Language teachers note also the importance of the practice inside the classroom due the effective method it represents to detect the necessity of feedback in order to guide students to a better understanding of the information being learned.

All professors in the Language Department concur on such talk, based on information exchange obtained by research and enriched by teacher´s experience, results to be a good method for training; always keeping as a major necessity the well-being of student’s and the improvement of the teaching practice to reach higher proficiency level.

There are a lot of benefits of learning languages. It is said that learning a language can protect you from age-related memory loss. I think this could be true because when you are learning a language, you force your brain to work in a different way since you have to switch what you already know into a different system. I’ve heard that you can’t learn two languages at the same time but a counterproof of this is me and all the other students who share the major in languages.

Here at IEST we learn English, French and German. Sometimes, in a single day, we have to change of language at least four times. At the beginning, this was exhausting because it wasn’t normal to do that but then you get used to it. I think this is the career of the future due we live in a globalized world: people who speak more than two languages have better job opportunities, which is what everybody wants after college is over.

So, don't be afraid of learning languages just because it’s difficult, take it as a challenge and good luck.

Last January students from the Mechatronic Engineering Mayor won the VEX Robotics Competition that took

place in Universitat La Salle in Barcelona, Spain. Perseverance, teamwork and patience were important pieces for the team members - Delhi Castillo Gómez, Juan Javier Castro Chávez and Alexandro Barrón Guajardo- In the order to fulfill the dreams of a team that sought nothing less than victory. They competed against 9 universities of Spain. Strategy was important for the team to win the first prize so on the finals they won with a difference of 5 points against the home university.

COMPETITION The goal of the contest was to make a robot capable of loading and transporting green and yellow sacks filled with of plastic and foam pellets to two different areas. The rules gave 5 points for green sacks and 10 for the yellow ones, if they were thrown at the baskets that divided the arena, also 10 points for green sacks and 20 for yellow ones only if they were thrown at the high goal basket in the middle of the arena, a triangular container that was difficult for the robot to reach. They were 9 rounds, each of them against a different university and they lasted 1 minute and 45 seconds. The team that had the best score would win the round.

DESIGN The robot was built with special material bought from VEX for the contest and it wasn’t allowed to include parts which weren’t in the robot kit. Having no guide or instruction booklet and using only their skills and imagination, the team built the robot according to their required needs and the strategy they would follow.

“We had two choices: to build a fast robot with a small sacks capacity or a slow robot that could carry many of them. We chose to make our robot not too slow. In order to have chances to score more points, so when the other teams were scoring just one sack; we were scoring three or even four.”

“We did four designs before the final model; the last one was finished a day before we traveled to Spain. We had a lot of work, building day and night and even on vacations.”

“All teams would start with a green sack already preloaded on their robot. What we would do each round, starting the game, was to load a yellow sack too and throw both of them at the basket, then we would focus only on green sacks that were over our side of the arena, loading and scoring two or three sacks per trip.

Finally, we would park our robot at the starting line to get bonus points before the time was up.”

EXPERIENCES AND DIFFICULTIES The team also faced problems during the competition that represented a challenge for them. “In the semifinals, the joystick ran out of battery so we had to move fast, change it and continue before the time was up. Another problem was in finals: the robotic arm motor that we used to load the sacks was disconnected accidentally during the round. We didn’t have enough time to bring the robot back and fix it, so we parked our robot hoping our opponent wouldn’t score more points than us. When the time was over, we won with a difference of five points.”

Beside the trophy they won, they also gained great experiences and knowledge regarding teamwork and working under pressure. “All the hard work and the teamwork we had previously and during the competition was the reflection of the triumph that we had at Spain. That was the best experience we obtained from the competition.”

Bien sûr que parler plusieurs langes c’est une chose merveilleuse pour notre CV, mais si cela ne vous motive pas assez, je vous invite à réfléchir un petit peu sur ces sujets : Aimez-vous voyager ? avoir beaucoup d’amis ? faire la fête ? la culture ? Un voyageur, il s’intéresse pour plonger dans la culture, connaitre des personnes, visiter les endroits locaux, IL VIT LA CULTURE !

Osez à vivre ! Apprends une langue étrangère ! Ou 2, ou 3, pourquoi pas ?

C’est quoi l’amitié ? Quelles sont les règles d’une bonne amitié ? Comment il faut la procurer ? Bien, je peux vous dire que je n’en ai aucune idée, mais je suis fière d’avoir réussi à maintenir une belle amitié pendant de longues années. Peut-être que pour vous 14 ans c’est rien, mais pour moi ce sont d’années pleines de souvenirs, d’heureux souvenirs. Elle est ma meilleure amie, celle de la photo. Son prénom ? Elle s’appelle Sara et on s’est connues quand on avait juste 12 ans.

Comment est-ce que nous sommes devenues des amies ? Pour être sincère je ne me souviens pas! Tout d’un coup elle était là pour moi et moi pour elle: pour nous conseiller, pour nous gronder, pour nous donner un coup de main. Tout d’un coup on s’asseyait ensemble, on mangeait ensemble, on chantait « Sera » de Ricardo Montaner, ensemble. On était des amies, les meilleures.

Il faudra dire que plus que des amies, on est des sœurs. J’ai partagé plus de choses avec elle qu’avec ma vraie sœur. Elle connait tout de ma vie et elle sait bien quand je suis triste, souciée ou amoureuse pour l’énième fois ! (Oui, je tombe amoureuse très souvent).

Le temps passe vite, on a grandi, on a vécu autant de choses ; quelques unes ensemble, quelques autres à son côté. Mais c’est la vie, et aujourd’hui je dis « au revoir, ma chérie ! » . Oui, elle part. Jamais j’aurais pensé que ce moment allait arriver. J’aurais cru que c’était moi qui s’en allait d’abord ! Moi, « l’internationale » qui toujours était en train de voyager. Comme je me suis trompée !

Et c’est pour ça que je me rends compte, encore une fois, que la vie est tellement mystérieuse et qu’elle nous donne des surprises à chaque instant de notre vie sans nous demander l’opinion et elle m’a surprise, bien sûr!

Comment je ferais sans ma sœur ? Je sais qu’on n’est plus dans le XVIII siècle. Maintenant on a la si impressionnante technologie ! Mais ce n’est pas la même chose de parler au téléphone ou de lui écrire sur facebook ou whatsapp que d´écouter sa voix en personne. La présence de ceux qu´on aime est très importante que parfois, quand ils ne sont pas là il y a quelque chose qui ne va pas, quelque chose qui manque.

Mais ! C’est la vie et comment se dit en France: la roue tourne et on ne sait de quoi demain on sera fait.

Donc, pas de surprise et il faut prendre la vie comme elle vienne !

En plus, elle n’est pas partie très loin (neuf heures de chemin pour arriver à sa nouvelle adresse font rien, n’est-ce pas?). Sur tout, ce qui me rassure le plus qu’elle n’est pas seule et qu'elle est entourée de ceux qu’elle aime le plus : son mari et son petit coquin de deux ans!! Il est mon filleul, ce coquin! Il est bavarde et inquiet ! Moi, j’adore sa famille et je suis sûre qu’ils seront très heureux là ou où qu’ils soient.

J’espère aller bientôt la déranger.

Ma fille, tu me manques déjà !

Cette vacance d’été je suis allée à Montpellier, France pour étudier le français.

Montpellier est située au sud de la France, très près de la Côte d’Azur. D’abord quand j´y suis arrivée la j’étais surprise parce que Premièrement il faisait très chaud ! Et aussi il y avait beaucoup de jeunes dans les rues. Apres, je me suis rendue compte que la chaleur était parce qu’il avait des plages dans la ville et les jeunes y étaient parce que Montpellier est une ville étudiante. Pendant mon séjour à Montpellier je suis restée chez une amie mexicaine qui habite là-bas.

Elle a un bel appartement qui se trouve dans la place de la Comédie (la place principale de Montpellier.) J’ai étudié dans une école qui s’appelle Accent Français qui se trouve très près de la Place de la Comédie, alors je marchais tous les jours pour arriver là, je seulement passais a la Brioche Dorée par acheter un café et voila j’arrivais a mon école.

Que-est ce que je peux dire d’Accent Français ? Je l’ai bien aimée ! C’est une très très bonne école, la méthode qu’ils utilisent est superbe. Personnellement je pense que j’ai appris beaucoup pendant les quatre semaines que j´y suis restée et mon français s´est amélioré. Les professeurs étaient jeunes et ils sachent beaucoup, les cours étaient très intéressants. Dans ma salle il y avait des personnes de beaucoup de lieux du monde par exemple du Japon, de Russie, d’Allemagne, de l'Italie, de Hongrie et d'Angleterre. Alors la langue qu'on devait utiliser pour parler était le français parce qu’il était notre langue en commun.

Très prés de mon école il y avait un super marche qui s'appelait Polygone où j´aimais aller après l'école et voir les magasins et acheter quelque chose. Pendant mon séjour, j’ai fait beaucoup de choses, on est allées à la plage, à de différents bars, aussi j’ai eu de la chance parce que les festivals du vin étaient à Montpellier pendant le temps que j’y suis restée. Il y avait aussi un lac qui s’appelait Lac du Crès il était très beau !

On y allait et on faisait du pique-nique, on bronzait et on nageait dans l’eau fraîche du lac. Une autre chose que j’ai fait ce sont de petits voyages aux villes près de Montpellier premièrement je suis allée à Nice. J’ai pris le train et trois heures après j’étais à Nice, là-bas on est allées à la plage et on a marché sur la Promenade des Anglais et on a fait un peu du shoping.

J’ai visité aussi Monaco une ville impressionnante!

Seulement des choses

luxueuses ! à nuit on est allées à la Brasserie de Monaco, un très joli restaurant-bar. Un autre lieu que j´ai visité pendant mon séjour à Montpellier était Barcelone! Qui se trouve aussi à trois heures de Montpellier on a loué un appartement pour le week-end. Les matins on marchait sur les marchait sur les Ramblas et le reste de la ville et on prenait des photos et mangeait de la délicieuse cuisine espagnole. Et la nuit on allait aux discothèques qui se trouvent dans La Barceloneta (la plage de Barcelone) En fin, c était les meilleur vacances de ma vie !
