White lies are typically small fabrications that we employ to protect others from emotionaldistressfromtherealtruth hether its about someones appearance, pretending to enjoy a gift, or faking enthusiasim, these

lies are often rooted in a genuine desire to maintain harmonious relationships They are entwined into the social fabric of our interactions, smoothingoutroughedgesand preserving the fragile equilibrium of our connections

AsafanofbothJazzandhip-hop,hisNu-jazz,triphop reminiscent style of production tickles my brain just right because in the midst of a Rock-saturated industry and shallow hip-hop songs, the solemnity flavored with jazzy hip-hop rhythms employed in his songs just resonate with me Aside from the quality of production and style, Arthur’s deep eloquence in both Filipino and English is apparent in his lyrics and it is greatly commendable coming from someone who takes pride in theuseofbothlanguages Ifoneweretoexplorehispast, his skill in music and writing would not come as big of a surprise because Nery comes from a family of singers, and he has experience being a call center agent and an onlineEnglishtutorforJapaneseStudents Yetthisdoesn’t take away from the fact that Arthur Nery is a talented singerandsongwriter

There are undeniably plenty of talented people in theOPMindustry, eachwiththeirownflavorsofmusicthat they bring to OPM’s table of selection Yet the differences of Arthur’s music from all the others make it all the more appealingtome.

At sasabihin mo, IE ako.

It’s been a year since I penned a tale

That last time I painted it clear

Inspired by mysteries unknown

Full of hope and lesson

I remember the hook that opening line

With unexpected twists a surprise

A solid ending with love that wins

Leaving a smile from every reader often

Can't recall the magic how it flowed

Maybe 'coz my own story began to grow

Realizing twists are more than a show

And stories end as we all know

It's bittersweet the only chapter that close

Adding shades to life's defeat

Wishing for chapters and stories to repeat

So I don't have to close this book–so neat

PROTESTA PROTESTA DE MAYO: DE MAYO:

Daing ng mga bayaning bugbog sa pag-abuso

niANDARNA

Nariyang naging nars, proktor at kahit pa diksyonaryo huwarang taong, may iba't ibang anyo.
