E nhanced Multiplexing Gain Using Interference Alignment Cancellation in Multi- Cell MIMO Networks
Abstract: Interference alignment is an effective technique for reducing interference in wireless networks. This paper proposes a generalized interference alignment and cancellation scheme for a cellular network with multiple-input multipleoutput users under a Gaussian interfering broadcast channel scenario. We first focus on a three-cell network scenario to demonstrate the basic principle of how to design the transmit beamforming matrix using a non-iterative closed-form approach. We further analytically define the degree of freedom region and numerically confirm the validity of the proposed scheme. Finally, we generalize the proposed method to the L -cell case and consider the impact of different antenna configurations to maintain the proposed scheme.
