Capacity-Enhancing Enhancing Full Full-Duplex Duplex Relay Networks based on Power Power-Splitting (PS)SWIPT

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the application of simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) in a full-duplex full duplex relay network, where the relay node is wirelessly powered by harvesting a portion of the received signal power from the source node. Different from existing work that has employed time time-switchingSWIPT, we propose to use power power-splitting-SWIPT. SWIPT. As a result, our proposed approach gives risee to a truly full-duplex full duplex relay network, where the information reception and transmission take place simultaneously at the relay node all the time. This more thorough exploitation of the full-duplex full duplex feature consequently leads to a significant capacity improvement, improvement, compared with existing alternatives in the literature.
