The Inland Empire Contemporary

Ballet, Inc.

A 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that exists solely for the purpose of providing educational and performance opportunities in professional classical and contemporary ballet to underserved communities. We pride ourselves in our quality productions and technique. We are open to pre-professional dance artists, participants and audiences of all ages, genders, and demographics, while aiming to help dancers reach their full potential in the art of contemporary ballet. We serve the Inland Empire by providing training, programs and productions of the highest possible quality for the artistic welfare of our vast community. We take pride in living up to our mission; to realize a world where people from all demographics are embraced as equal members of society in every community. IECB will fully represent the diversity of the performing arts community through our people, programs, values and priorities.

Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) have given us historical contributions to the performing arts while being ignored, diminished, forgotten, with their current needs and priorities not taken into account. We will continue to advocate for those within not just the dance community but, the community we are surrounded by. Since our inception, we have continuously been open for conversations that deepen our understanding about race, racism, implicit bias and how it impacts our community and our organization. We pledge to give a voice to everyone, especially the BIPOC & LGBTQIA communities while maintaining a safe environment free of hateful policies and rhetoric that threaten to undermine our basic fundamental rights to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and artistic expression.
