Shane and Irika married in 2010. They have 3 children and currently live right outside of Nashville. Shane is an electrician for a company based in Nashville. He was born on the island of Grenada. He moved to here after dating Irika to marry her. They will soon be celebrating 12 years of marriage.

Why do I want to work for The State of TN?

I am looking for a place to call home. After working for a variety of places and being in all sorts of positions in the design and production industry, I am wanting to grow my professional career in an established entity that offers room for growth and development. During the interview, I gathered that the Document Solutions department is wanting to establish its legacy and cultivate a leadership team that will ensure its impact across the state that satisfies all of its clients. Considering my experiences and background, I know I would be the perfect fit to join this team.

Who am I?

I have been in the Graphic Design world for more than 12 years with most of my experience being in production. I also really enjoy collaborating with team members to build great campaigns. I am proud to say that I have been a part of the development of many popular Nashville based brands that you see everyday.

What are some of my career highlights?

In my last position, I was added to multiple teams to assist because I excelled as a production artist and designer. I am usually made a team and trusted to spearhead campaigns in it’s early ideation stages. I have received two Addy awards for some of my design work. But most of all, my biggest highlight is being able to drive around my hometown and see my work everywhere.
