FANAR SPIRITUAL RETREAT

Fanar is a spiritual retreat dedicated to fostering a deeper connection with the Creator of the universe, God Almighty, Allah (subhanahu wa ta›ala). It offers various methods for healing the soul from life›s challenges. The project is designed to create interconnected spaces that enhance the sense of spirituality and strengthen the human relationship with God through meditation and introspection, allowing individuals to explore their spiritual dimensions. Here, one can discover answers to the profound questions that often occupy the mind, guided by the principles of the Islamic faith. This project is situated in the serene surroundings of Wadi Tayeb Esm, Al-Bidaa Governorate, within the Tabuk region.

The Concept: Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala, revealed this verse to comfort the heart of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and delivered the glad tidings of God’s approval. Allah bestows countless blessings upon humanity, among the most significant of which are life and guidance along the righteous path. Allah has bestowed honor upon humans by creating the soul, which is described by Allah, subhanahu wa ُ ُ ‫ك َعــن ال ـرُّوح)ِ ُقــل ال ـر‬ َ ‫ســأَلو َن‬ ta’ala, as follows: ‫ـن أَ ْم ـ ُر ِ َر ِّبــي َو َمــا‬ ْ ‫ُّوح ِمـ‬ ِ ْ ‫َو َي‬ ِ ُ ِ ً‫ــم ِإ َّاَّل َق ِليــأ‬ ِ ِ ‫ــن ْال ِع ْل‬ َ ‫ــم م‬ ْ ‫( )أوتيت‬Translation: “And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about the soul. Say, ‘The soul is of the affair of my Lord.

And mankind have not been given of knowledge except a little.’”)

The soul is depicted as a pristine, pure, white cloth that envelops the human body, providing it with life. In Islamic faith, this cloth symbolizes perfection, the alignment with the cosmic forces, and liberation from sins and desires. This gift is symbolically represented through the contrast between light and shadow, ُ ُ ُ ُّ ‫ــن‬ ِ ‫الظل َم‬ as expressed in the Quranic verse: (‫ــات ِإ َلــى‬ َ ‫ــم ِم‬ ْ ‫ي ْخرِج ُه‬ ‫ )ال ُّنــو ِر‬. (Translation: “He brings them out of darkness into the light”).

This verse reassures us of Allah’s divine wisdom and guidance, underscoring the profound importance of life and spiritual enlightenment.

The open living and kitchen area seamlessly merge, fostering connection and shared experiences, while a private bedroom and meticulously designed bathroom provide a retreat for comfort. As you traverse through the thoughtfully designed spaces, encounter a captivating fusion of funky styles that adds a touch of exuberance to the entire experience. The Concept:

The Funk Art Funk art, originating in the United States in the 1960s, is defined by its unconventional and often amusing artistic expression that challenges established ideas of beauty and artistic norms. Artists associated with Funk drew inspiration from everyday life, popular culture, as well as the prevalent political and social issues of their era.

In the context of describing the inhabitants of an apartment, it can be said that those who resonate with Funk art are characterized as youthful, energetic individuals who embrace a fun-loving and carefree lifestyle, often seeking to escape from the rigors of reality to fully enjoy the present moment.

The Carnelian Hotel is a five-star Hotel. Featuring a modern, youthful design infused with freshness, vitality, and the energy inspired by the mighty Rijal Alma Mountains. Deeply rooted in the traditions of Southern hospitality in the Aljanoub Region, this hotel caters particularly to athletes and adventurers. The Carnelian Hotel has earned its reputation for its innovative designs, exceptional craftsmanship, and a dedicated commitment to sustainability.

This ensures that guests not only find peace of mind but also have the opportunity to explore the world, embrace the joys of authentic living, and luxuriate in their experience.

The Plan diagram was inspired by the tattoos of Viking people, which featured runic inscriptions. Among these tattoos, the most renowned is the Vegvisir Tattoo, a spiritual talisman believed to guide Viking individuals safely back home after battles or long journeys.

The Concept:

The Vikings The term “Vikings” was used to describe the people originating from Scandinavia, and they were often perceived as barbaric and brutal. They were renowned for their strength and fierceness, and their reputation included a thirst for battle and bloodshed.

Viking men were notably robust, and they were influenced by the lifestyle of the Viking culture, which shares similarities with the project’s target audience, characterized by a love of travel and adventure.=

It features a retail area stocked with instruments, records, and artist merchandise, a lounge space where patrons can relish live music performances daily, and a studio designed to provide a spectacular musical experience. With its fun and distinctive style, Nawahand invites visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of music.

Musical Notes A musical note is a symbol used to represent both the pitch and duration of a sound in music.

It serves as a fundamental element in musical notation and is a universal language that musicians from diverse backgrounds and cultures can comprehend and interpret. It allows for the precise communication of musical ideas and melodies, making it a vital tool for musicians worldwide.

Yamaha is a Japanese corporation founded in 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha. It specializes in musical instruments and stands as the world›s largest piano manufacturer. Their philosophy revolves around sharing passion and creating the best possible experience, embodied by their motto, «Make Waves.» design lines inspired by persons’s feeling while listening music

A one-floor office has been designed for the newest branch of Lomar Corporate, situated in Aljat, Taif. This space is ideal for ambitious professionals and offers a fantastic atmosphere for collaborative work. In the office, you can have your own dedicated space in individual booths. Additionally, there are numerous resting and entertainment areas to enjoy while working. Each department has its own offices and the option to collaborate with their teams in meeting rooms or in the communal work area. This office showcases a unique blend of the Salmani and modern styles, paying homage to the rich cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia

Lomar is a clothing company that specializes in men›s Thobes and more. It was founded by Loai Nasim and Mona Al-haddad in 2002. Their vision is to showcase the finest qualities and designs of Saudi culture to the world. Their work environment is adaptable and varies according to the seasons, reflecting a flexible approach to their operations.

The Concept:

Jabal Tuwaiq Jabal Tuwaiq is a mountain located in the northwest of Riyadh. It is also commonly referred to as the “Edge of the World.” Prince Mohammad Bin Salman used this mountain to symbolize the ambitious spirit of Saudis.

This mountain’s inspiration drove me to design this office, aiming to represent and embody the ambitious nature of the Saudis.

COMPITETION PROJECT EDUCATIONAL Design Al Hawiyahy, TAIF ,sa 2021 revit

This design was dedicated to the College of Design and Arts at Taif University. It encompasses a section on the ground floor of the building, featuring three classrooms, two workshops, and an art studio. What sets this project apart is its ability to transform from standard classrooms and workshops into an exhibition space for showcasing students› work and designs at the end of the semester. This transformation is facilitated by adjustable walls and lightweight materials. We opted for a minimalist style with a hint of vibrant colors to craft the ideal environment for arts students.»

An Artwork On a Canvas The canvas is like a blank piece of fabric onto which artists paint their visions and stories. Similarly, the students of the College of Design and Arts are the heart and soul of the building. Without their creativity, this building is just like any other regular structure. They sketch their journey within the walls of the college, turning themselves into living artworks.

This one-story residential project has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate a family of five, comprised of a contented married couple and their three children: a college-aged daughter and energetic twin teenage boys. It embodies a sense of luxury and sophistication, seamlessly aligning with the evolving aspirations of modern times. This residence is a harmonious blend of style and functionality, offering an inviting space that caters to the distinct needs and interests of each family member.
