IDH is in a good position to address some of the above issues of poverty reduction, decreasing environmental impact and sustainable trade. We build impact oriented coaltions of frontrunning companies, civil society organizations and governments in consuming and producing countries to help transform mainstream commodity markets sustainably.
Five years after our establishment we like to share our experiences, and demonstrate the public goods our sector programs are delivering. Working across 18 sectors, we selected tea, cocoa and cotton for commissioning deep-dive impact studies to third-party consultants and academics.
