US Blanks At Seabase we only ever stock the best foam. That is why we were Clark Foam’s only European distributor for twenty years.

We now sell US Blanks surfboard foam. Then follow the quality control and close tolerance high strength to weight surfboard foam principles we used to see with Clark Foam. US Blanks is a stronger and better product.

Straight stringers!

This should be a given right? Well, compare this to other UK, Australian, Mexican, and South African foams and you’ll see what we are talking about. Fortunately our shapers demand the best from us and that’s why we are pedantic about using only straight solid wood stringers from renewable sources. The stringer is one of the most important parts of the foam - it holds the rocker and provides the correct amount of flex - the vital dynamic in a good surfboard.

Close Tolerance Surfboard foam should still be easy to hand shape, and having foam which is close to shape saves time in the shaping bay and uses less resources. Additionally as US Blanks surfboard foam is designed by the biggest names in the industry our surfboard foam is ideal for machine cuts without causing loads of wastage.

Fibreglass Thirty years ago, Seabase collaborated with Hexcel in France to produce clean, clear fibreglass cloths with a unique new finish. Optically matched to Silmar and ISO 10X resins, Refined over the years, and finessed to produce 100% clean and clear cloths, the Seabase reinforced by Hexcel range of fibreglass cloths have become the industry standard bearer for strength, clarity, whiteness and usability. 100% guaranteed, this range of cloths unique to Seabase and identified by the single blue salvage thread, is the secret to less breakages, and stronger whiter surfboards. Hexcel is the perfect partner with its huge investment in progressive technologies used by Boeing and Airbus.
