The government of the Dominican Republic invited 9 architectural and environmental design firms to bid on a massive project to master plan an eco-tourism story for its last undeveloped province, Pedernales. Montreal's Lemay Architects won the bid, and I was invited by their partners, Resonance Consultancy, to join them for a 4-day planning session in the DR, following which I would author the final vision for the province and accompanying development strategy.
The sessions were conducted in Spanish, and the final document adapted into Spanish for presentation to the President and Ministers of Environment and Tourism in October 2019 in Santo Domingo.
