Some entrepreneurs may be born, but with the right education we can do more to encourage entrepreneurship. Teaching entrepreneurial mindset — characteristics such as initiative and self-direction, flexibility and adaptability, and creativity and innovation - is supposed to be at the heart of our education systems. While many inspirational innovators may share certain characteristics, one thing is clear – the right mix of education and experience is vital to entrepreneurial success. Therefore this manual is created for teachers, youth workers, social workers and other people who are in contact with young people and want to motivate them to start working on their entrepreneurial ideas rather than think only about the steady state job. Teachers lack resources that could help them as teaching materials and support their efforts in motivating young people for entrepreneurship. This manual aims to showcase working advice and examples of inspiring practice featured through Idea2Europe project.
