this report is the first annual report for the social inclusion trust fund, highlighting projects and activities supported by the fund between february 2003 and march 2004. the multi-donor social inclusion trust fund was established in february 2003 to support small-scale initiatives addressing the social inclusion of five main target groups: indigenous and afro-descendant populations, persons with disabilities, persons with hiv/aids and poor women in latin america and the caribbean. the fund channels its support to excluded groups in three main areas: organizational strengthening and awareness raising, research and dissemination, and support to bank operations.
