A day in the kitchen with The McDonald’s Story

In January, the third-grade classes of our school has participated in a fresco workshop led by Professor Laura Vajngerl, thanks to the Academy project by Confartigianato Vicenza. The expert explained in detail the phases involved in creating a fresco, an ancient technique of mural painting. Each class chose a painting from those observed by the contemporary artist Massimo Campigli, who predominantly painted female figures using this technique. Through the dusting phase, the images of the two paintings were transferred onto panels prepared with successive layers of plaster. Subsequently, all the students in each class took turns painting with the appropriate pigments. Soon, the frescoes will be on display in our school!

Lemonpeel

Freshbrewer'syeast: 6g.

1. In a bowl put flour (200g.), lemon peel, a egg and mix.

Warm up slightly milk (125 ml.), put fresh brewer’s yeast (6 g.) and sugar (50 g.), mix and let it rise for 5 minute.

Add the water at room temperature and the milk mixed yeast and mix with a spoon.

Let the dough rest at room temperature and covered with a cloth for an hour and half.

5.

Warm up fri oil in a pot and put spoonfuls of dought, fry them until they are golden.

6.

Decorated it with powdered sugar and fil it with raisins, custard and more.
