And so it begins... On October 1st 1997, ICSMSU established an elite training programme for the top 1% of the nation’s medical students. Its purpose: to turn the innocent and confused school leavers into the confident, super-sexy, life-saving diagnostic machines of tomorrow, and to ensure that the men and women who graduated were the best medical students in the world. They succeeded. Today, Imperial College bills your first two weeks as “A Foundation Course designed to build on your A-Level knowledge and an introduction to Molecules, Cells & Disease” We call it: FRESHERS’ FORTNIGHT! A-levels are done and dusted, Mum & Dad won’t be checking that you’re home before 12, and your student loan has arrived. It’s time to adopt the ancient Med School motto: “Work hard. Play harder!” This fortnight is the essential training tool for the rest of your life - don’t leave Med School without it! Your social team have worked flat out to present the biggest, loudest, most incredible two weeks you could think of! Hold on tight! Drinking is optional, but 100% commitment to your training, the Ministry of Fun (that’s us) and making a pledge to ‘do over’ those other ‘Med Schools’ south of the river at every opportunity is compulsory! This passport provides all the information you need for the fortnight and will serve as your passing-out certificate at the end of your training. Buy your passport NOW to guarantee full access to all the events at a massively reduced price! You need to hurry though as we only have a limited number available, so buy now to avoid heartbreak! Dig out all your fancy dress, bring plenty of aspirin and caffeine; Ladies, pack your snazziest outfit, and Gents, learn how to tie a bow tie! We will see you on day one of the beginning of the rest of your life! Sophie: 07846454765

See if you can conquer all the pubs on the way, but do not miss the after party at Heaven, one of London’s best and most famous clubs where you can dance the night away!
