Our aim at The High Life is to promote the fabulous community, culture & corporate life you can enjoy in the Mansfield & Ashfield Area. We want to simply shout about the numerous positive things about living in our area from both a business and personal perspective. Also whatever your age, sex, religion, race or background you can have a high quality of life with hope, vision and a future in the Mansfield and Ashfield area. We interviewed several local individuals who told us why they support the above statement, why they believe we should be proud of where we live and work.

Jamie Bourn is a 17 year old apprentice with Purpose Media, a successful Mansfield base web developer and on-line marketing specialist. He said, “Although I initially thought opportunities for an IT career in Mansfield might be limited, I discovered there is a lot of investment going into Mansfield, particularly in new office complexes which will attract businesses and help them to expand. Finding work is difficult, but there are opportunities in Mansfield. I worked hard at school and made sure this attitude continued throughout my job search, my apprenticeship studies and now in my daily work. I now have even more qualifications and an exciting future working for Purpose Media, who are committed to helping local lads like me develop a career. This is encouraging us to stay in the area and contribute to the local economy.”
Enjoyable Retail Experience We can still boast a wide range of High Street stores and local independent businesses both reliant upon each other for encouraging visitors to the towns to spend and boost the economy.
"We started our retail business on Oxford Street in Mansfield selling made to measure curtains 10 years ago in a very small retail unit with one part time assistant. Now the original shop is 10 times larger on the same site employing 5 staff. Our new Blinds shop opened on 21st April 2012 on the same site expanding the business further. Our success, we believe is due to hard work, a great team of staff and never forgetting our original vision to offer exceptional service, quality and choice. We are proud of our business and our achievements and our lovely customers in the Mansfield area have helped us by recommending us to their friends.
