Mjólkurbúðin Art Gallery is a small gallery located in the same building as Akureyri Art Museum, in the heart of Akureyri. It is run by local artist Dagrún Matthíasdóttir.

Fjúk Arts Centre

Fjúk is a series of artist-run spaces in the old hookbaiting houses of Húsavík harbor. One exhibition area has unusual wooden cladding whilst another is set in an old walk-in fridge. Monthly open studios showcase the work of the artists in residence.
