To avoid product damages, the sides (1) must be mounted when turning the lid (4).

The ICEBREAKER brings you more than ice, it brings you something to talk about – and of course a new way to make and serve ice cubes.

Although it’s very cool and easy, we think you should give this product guide a read before twisting your day with ICEBREAKER.

QUICK CLEANING Move the marker to by turning the lid.

Regularly cleaning is needed to avoid bacteria formation and limescale, which complicates the filling and may cause ice cubes sticking to the gaskets.

It requires 5 rotations of the lid before the ice cubes are released and can be served.

Weekly cleaning (or after 5-7 times of use) is recommended. Follow this easy and quick cleaning guide:

Take off the bottom tray.

Turn the lid a bit more and pour out excess water.

Gently pour water into the filling tub.

TIP: Take off the sides to see when the ICEBREAKER is filled.

To disassemble the parts from the main body (9), turn the lid (4) until the marker has moved to .

Disassemble the ICEBREAKER but leave on the gaskets, and prepare a soft brush and soapy water.

Use a thin water jet to avoid overfilling the filling tub.

TIP: Pause the filling and let the water drain before continuing.

Put on the bottom tray and place the ICEBREAKER in the freezer in any direction.

TIP: Shake gently up/down if ice cubes are stuck inside, and to check if the ICEBREAKER is empty.

You do not have to empty the ICEBREAKER, just leave it on and put it back in the freezer immediately.

The ICEBREAKER should NOT be stored colder than -20 °C / -4 °F. 5

Hold the ICEBREAKER vertically and keep turning the lid in the same direction to serve ice cubes.

Clean the gaskets and the dismounted trays.

Clean the top and the bottom of the filling tub.

Rinse all the cleaned parts.

Dry thoroughly – wipe off or airdry every parts before freezing.

TIP: Take off the dispenser to serve all ice cubes immediately.

NOTE: Freezing time depends on freezer capacity and temperature. Approx. 8 hours at -19 °C / -2.2 °F.

If water drips from the bottom, the orange marker might not be completely on .

Shake the ICEBREAKER upside down and wipe it off – to make sure that the lid and the filling tub is free from water, as it may hinder the rotation of the lid after freezing.

Empty the ICEBREAKER completely before refilling it.

In addition to the quick cleaning, the ICEBREAKER must be thoroughly cleaned from time to time. It is recommended to clean by hand with a soft brush and soapy water.

NOTE: Always clean the ICEBREAKER disassembled and remember to dry thoroughly before freezing.

Fill the ICEBREAKER with water, freeze it, and serve ice cubes by simply turning the lid.

In case of heavy limescale, descaling is required. Move the marker to and fill the ICEBREAKER and the filling tub with coffee machine descaler (follow the descaler/water ratio specified by the descaler product). Leave for 15 minutes and clean.

GO BREAK THE ICE

The ICEBREAKER is dishwasher proof, but must be cleaned disassembled and separately from any other objects – as dirt might get stuck inside the ICEBREAKER.

Move the marker to by turning the lid.

The ICEBREAKER can only be disassembled in this mode.

Take off the sides by placing a thumb on the release button (marked with an orange label) inside the ICEBREAKER and press outwards.

(Remove the label when you get familiar with the release button).

Take off the lid, the bottom tray and the dispenser by pulling upwards and downwards, respectively.

MAINTENANCE

Take off the trays by placing a finger in the top of the tray and pull outwards.

DECLARATION

Ensure that the marker is still placed on .

The ICEBREAKER can only be assembled in this mode.

Cleaning instructions must be followed to avoid bacteria formation. The ICEBREAKER must only be filled with clean water.

While turning the lid, the ICEBREAKER must be completely assembled – except of the bottom tray.

No sharp objects must be used.

Place the gaskets loosely on the white frame inside the main body. Now press gently with a finger on each side of the gasket – start from the ends of the gasket and move towards the centre. (No sharp tools must be used).

We recommend to follow the instructions in the product guide, as ICEBREAKER Nordic assumes no liability for incorrect use of the ICEBREAKER.

GUIDE TO COOLNESS

LET´S HEAR FROM YOU

The inside and outside of the ICEBREAKER must not be soaked in water during freezing, as this can damage the ICEBREAKER. Therefore, it is recommended to shake and wipe off the ICEBREAKER after every cleaning and filling.

If stored outside the freezer, store the ICEBREAKER on

PRODUCT GUIDE

Insert the trays with the water hole pointing upwards.

Using hard water may cause limescale on the gaskets and the trays. This complicates the filling and may cause ice cubes sticking to the gaskets. TIP: Clean the gaskets, trays and filling tub weekly – see the quick cleaning section.
