Above All Else Dear Research Family,
In this issue:
These hot days of summer will soon lead to “back to school” and fall, and hopefully the Royals in the World Series again! It’s been a busy summer for Research!

Our Brookside campus has brought on new people and made a lot of advances – new CT scanner and new 3D mammography unit, resurfaced parking lots, made pool renovations, and updated a lot of flooring and furniture. And soon a new roof will be installed at Brookside. Other great ideas are in-the-works to support employees and to draw new patients who need healthcare services.

RMC just opened the new cardiovascular hybrid operating room. Our level three NICU remodel is complete and we have plans to renovate the rest of the Women’s Services area. The newly remodeled neurology offices will open on August 31. This will give patients easy access to neurologists and neurosurgeons on the same floor. A lot of new equipment and technology has been put into action this summer. Brilliant teams of employees and physicians are constantly being trained to deliver the most advanced care to patients using the latest tools! Now seems to be a great time to say thank you to lots of Research volunteers who have been serving in many ways in the community. We’ve participated in Convoy of Hope, Her Expo, Heart Walk, Business After Hours, Jazz in the Woods, Global Health Initiatives, INMED’s Conference, Mental Health Month Awareness events, RMC Great Save, Amy Thompson Run, National Cancer Survivor’s Day, March of Dimes March for Babies, Giving Fore Living (in Butler, MO) Dine and Dance with the Stars, Catholic Charities Soirée, Rose Brooks, Firefighters Bowl-a-Thon, Midwest Transplant Network, Spike Out Diabetes, EMS Softball Tournament, National Association of Mental Illness events and more! Reaching out in our community makes an impact because of you. What great ambassadors you are! We continue to receive so many compliments from patients and their family members! Your caring spirit is so critical to who we are. Thank you again for the contributions you make for patients! Sincerely,
