Dear Mr. Pooler : We are delighted that you have chosen to visit Pinehurst and we are pleased to confirm your reservation as detailed above. Please call us if you have any questions or note any discrepancies in our information. Our receipt of your advance deposit guarantees your reservation. If your plans change, you may cancel your reservation without penalty on or before 03/17/2008; thereafter, a cancellation or no-show will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Upon your arrival we will ask you to reconfirm the number of nights you will be staying. If you subsequently depart before that date, your advance deposit is applied as an early departure fee. In order to assist you in planning your stay with us, we ask that you please note the following: * We are unable to guarantee specific buildings, rooms or room types, but we have noted your requests and preferences above. * Our check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and checkout time is 12 noon. Early check-in is based on room availability. * Upon registration we will request a valid form of identification (driver's license or passport) from each adult guest in your party, as well as a credit card for account settlement or to secure incidental charges. * Gentlemen are required to wear jackets during dinner in the Carolina Dining Room. * A $150 per person premium applies for play on Pinehurst No. 2. As you review your golf agenda please be aware that the notation of "(10)" following the course number indicates a 10th tee start. * We recommend that dining, spa and amenity reservations be made in advance of arrival. Please call (800) 487-4653 and select Option 3 for spa appointments or Option 4 for dining reservations. * Childcare services are available for an additional fee. We are not a licensed daycare facility; however, our employee partners who provide childcare services have completed a six-hour Red Cross babysitting course and have annual background checks completed. In addition to our championship golf, Pinehurst offers a wide variety of activities and amenities for you to enjoy during your visit.
