A HOUSE OF OPPORTUNITIES
Ibsenhuset, located in Skien in the county of Vestfold and Telemark, is the natural choice for all occasions. The house is an institution among Norway’s cultural arenas. It is a modern and flexible meeting point suitable for cultural experiences, events and meetings. Ibsenhuset contains three large halls and four meeting rooms in different sizes. This includes Dovregubbens Hall, for 800 people in amphi (expandable to 1000 people), Peer Gynt and Club Scene for a standing audience of 1100 or 350 seated around tables. In addition, our large foyer, approximately 700 square meters, is perfect for fairs.
Our facilities provide an inspirational setting and are also well suited for disabled persons. All our halls and rooms are equipped with the latest technology. We organize all types of events; small and important meetings, as well as large congresses or fairs and concerts of all types. Our reputable restaurant keeps the hunger away.

Telemark og Skiens storstue er en arena for alle anledninger. En institusjon blant norske kulturhus, som fortsatt fremstår som en moderne og fleksibel møteplass for kulturopplevelser og store konferanser – men også for de nære konserter og møter.
Tre store saler, foajé og fire møterom til disposisjon. Dovregubbens Hall til 800 personer (kan utvides til 1000), Peer Gynt og Klubbscene med plass til 1100 stående og 350 i kaféoppsett og 700 kvadratmeter foajé til messe. Vi innbyr til inspirerende opplevelser med god universell utforming, hvor alle møterom er utstyrt med moderne teknisk utstyr. Vi arrangerer alt fra de små viktige møtene til store kongresser, messer og konserter. Bevertning av vår anerkjente restaurant. Med snart 50 års erfaring så er det hele i trygge hender hos oss.

ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES
• Ibsenhuset provides assisted hearing facilities, and the site is suited for wheelchairs.
