WADI RUM DESERT OASIS RESORT
MAIN OBJECTIVES: To harmoniously integrate futuristic, sustainable architecture with Wadi Rum’s unique desert landscape
to enhance guest experience and environmental preservation.

A futuristic, eco-friendly resort integrated into Wadi Rum’s unique landscape, featuring advanced sustainable technologies like energyefficient louvers, photovoltaic cells, and natural ventilation. Designed to enhance guest comfort while preserving the natural environment. Providing multiple options of accommodations, a wellness area and an activities area with a guided adventures offices.


DESIGN CONCEPT
The resort’s design features continuous layers and linear roof openings that mimic the stratified rock formations of Wadi Rum. This design strategy celebrates the natural beauty of the desert and provides a seamless visual connection with the environment.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
The Project contains 3 main zones, Accommodations, Activities and adventures zone, Wellness center and the management zone, the common zones are located in the main building that is besides the mountain, while the accommodation units are separated and distributed around the building surrounded by the captivating nature of Wadi Rum, the angles of the design are influenced mainly by the natural forces and the view directions to be able to benefit from the location that is in the middle of Wadi Rum Desert.

MAIN OBJECTIVES: Fostering cultural engagement and connectivity through a unified architectural form that enhances community interaction in Jordan.

This civic center in Jordan is designed to enhance community interaction and cultural engagement through its open, interconnected spaces, While incorporating sustainable construction and ventilation systems that enhances its functionality.



THE LAYER OF CULTURE
The design of the civic center employs a continuous layer concept that acts as a unifying element within the structure, seamlessly connecting different spaces and functions. Starting as an outdoor ground layer, it guides visitors on a journey through the building, rising to form slopes that house an amphitheater and then folding into higher levels to include an auditorium and social areas. This architectural strategy not only facilitates smooth flow and interaction but also reinforces the center’s role as a cohesive cultural venue.

AL AZRAQ AGRITOURISM HUB
MAIN OBJECTIVES: Improving agricultural awareness and supporting farms in Al Azraq

This project is taking advantage of Al Azraq tourism attraction to support the agriculture in Al Azraq, and therefore to help solving the major problems that faces Al Azraq.

Including informative areas and experimental farms that represents all farms types in Jordan




INFO. STREET

Visitors will go through an educational end experimental journey begins with taking Information about farming from “Info Street” that contains interactive screens, then the farms where they do farming experience, then to the kitchens / workshops, and ends in the central plaza where the exhibitions are.

Lets visitors experiment making local handcraft by the help of locals, it will promote handcrafts for tourists.

JORDAN CULTURAL CENTER
MAIN OBJECTIVES: Displaying the Jordanian culture with a sustainable building using reusable materials

The main goal of the project is to celebrate Irbid being Arab Cultural Capital, by showing the culture of Jordan, using reusable material.


CULTURE-REFLECTING MATERIALS

The building materials are influenced by cultural diversity in Jordan, containing:
• The ribbon-like material that refers to the desert tents
• The containers that refers to the urban life
• The green spaces that refers to the agriculture







































The building divided by 3 main areas, the blue area have all the information desks, the green area is the exhibition area that is the main space in the building, then the path ends with the Yellow area that is the library. In the first floor there is the learning spaces to have more privacy than the public spaces.
