About The Author – Adil Salahi Adil Salahi is a scholar, author and translator of Islamic books in English.

He was born in Syria and studied English Literature at Damascus University.

He also received certificates in Islamic studies from various teachers in Damascus.

Adil Salahi worked for the BBC Arabic Service and the Arab News, a Saudi daily newspaper, where he edited a column called Islam in Perspective for over 30 years.

He taught at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education in the UK and delivered courses and seminars at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Research (IIDR).

He has written or translated several books on Islam, including…    
