Fast start for Tyrexpo Asia 2013 as eager exhibitors secure prime locations Singapore Expo Centre 19, 20, 21 March 2013

S

ingapore based tyre and equipment show Tyrexpo Asia has reported a fast start to its 2013 exhibition from suppliers eager to capitalise on the continuing growth of the region’s buoyant automotive aftermarket. By mid-April, 11 months before the show gets underway, more than 70% of space in Hall 2 of the Singapore Expo Centre had been reserved as regular exhibitors confirmed their return for next year’s show. They have been joined by new suppliers attending the bi-annual event for the first time. Tyrexpo Asia heavyweights Stamford Tyres, YHI Corporation, Elgi Rubber, Omni United and BKT have secured prominent gateway stands in the main entrance area. Joining them will be Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT, who return to the show for the first time since 2007. “This is proving to be the fastest-selling show of any we’ve staged in Singapore,” confirms Paul Farrant, managing director of ECI International. “The levels of interest have continued to build from the record performance we saw with the 2011 exhibition.” While the majority of early exhibitors are from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India and China, ECI also report bookings from the US, Middle East and Europe. Tyrexpo Asia will return to the Singapore Expo Centre on 19, 20, 21 March 2013, marking the 9th edition in the series of dedicated tyre and equipment shows from ECI International. The record-breaking 2011 event drew more than 3,700 visitors from 93 countries, with over 180 suppliers supporting the three-day exhibition.
