To my dear friends, family and all the people that supported me, thank you for your unconditional love.
Thank you, Taylor, for being my inspiration to write and expand my creativity. Your upcoming album drove me to do this project.
Lastly, thank you to that one person that made me bleed ink to heal. The muse to some of the poems in the project. You held a special place in my heart. Thank you.
Author’s NoteThis project consists of sixteen original poems that were shared on my social media, and a compilation of unseen poems that I have created under the pen name “Cupid. ”
A lovely reminder: the photos used in the background of each poem were all generated using artificial intelligence.
Act I

The One (?)
Darkness brought forth the light, Rainstorm brought the sun in sight, One mistake makes one do right, One to let go, one’s free as a kite.
People come, but one really goes; People stayed, except one’s ghost; I’d made my own way, but one seemed lost; Guess it’s the way the fate flows.

The Euthanasia
One shot close to paradise; Heart wounded, blurry eyes, Lost my senses, short of breath.
A helpless soul needs a good death.
The Culprit

Loaded guns and sharp knives, Blueprint drawn for his crimes,
Cuffed down from his past lives
But escaped the worst of times
“Run away with me, or else
Nothing in the world makes sense. ”

The Catalyst
Our love without chemistry
Breaks down, but sets me free
The pain from your uncertainty
Marked the scars for the better me 4

The Sphinx
One soldier broke, lost his armor
Trying to put his fingers up four
Two women crying loud in apathy “God, why can’t you save us three?”

The Gallery
The palette of an artist’s mind Paints through each of his creations
The puzzle pieces all intertwined Displays the depth of his visions

The Cosmos
Let time and space decide, Across the plants and satellites,
If our stars will soon align, Please show the signs in the night sky...
“Will you ever be mine?”

The Amnesia
“Don’t worry, calm down. ”
“I can’t remember anything...
My head hurts... I had no clue...
What have you done to me? Who... are you?”
“You have finally woken up. ”

The Love and Soul
A Love lost and stuck in the dark
And a Soul guided by faith: A love found against all scars
And two souls aligned by fate.

The 3am Chaos
Twin rivers flowing in my bed
Cracks upon the heart of land
Echoes ring inside my head
Death holds me by the hand
The Bluff
I had dealt all of my cards
Then you grinned like a devil

I should’ve known from the start
Your good move shadows my peril

The Apocalypse
Before time counts our doom, Would you waste it all on me?
If we’re the last people in a room, Would you ever think of me?

The Fourth Wall
Stuck in the film reels of my mind, Haunted by the scenes of us;
Let me break the line that splits us
So you’ll gaze my star on the runtime.

The Polaris
I wish that I was somebody’s star:
The one she can follow when travelling far,
Sailing through the vastness of the ocean
Where the ship of us were never broken
(I wish I was seen, I wish I was heard, I wish I was chosen, I wish I wasn’t hurt...)

The Circus
I balanced on a tightrope, an unicycle
With the fragile hearts you loved to juggle You’re my only elephant in this room, In where this circus became your castle.

The Poetry
Words flow, like how life goes; Thoughts said, like my mind was read; Pen and paper, or the keyboard letters, It’s still a beauty, the world of poetry.
Act II

The So(u)l
A summer love that lasts forever
Tested through trends and weather
My cold soul could be any better If 'u' were sent to make it warmer
The Closet

The colors in the clothes of mine Are kept hidden in the closet
A new style won't be hard to find
If you're brave enough to open it

The Edge of Falling
The Edge of F

The Blue Moon 1/000,000 lifeONCEtime
ONCE
TS3-Track 1 _ choruslastline

The Exit
Once you enter, you commit. If you don't, enter the exit.

The Blueprint
A work of a mastermind Laid down with precision
Luring a pawn in my life
You were my only mission

The Cowardice
The fear frightens the freak
The worry weakens the weak
The timid traps one's thoughts
The cat hiding in people's coats
Looking for a cowardice?
Scaramouch's at your service!

The Rain
As I sit amidst the city night rain,
All I ever did was to endure the pain
Like the sky cries the hurt I gained
While waiting for the next train.

The Dirty Laundry
White clothes were stained in red: A lipstick mark or a scar I bled?
Am I the dirty laundry you left Under the shadows of your bed?

The Crowds
Why is it always you that I see?
Do you end up dreaming of me in the night?
In the midst of a crowd, loud and busy,
Was it me that reflects light in your eyes?

The Amore
In mezzo a tutto il dolore, La speranza rimane nel mio cuore; Aspettando per ore e ore, Solo per te, mio carissimo amore...
Closing Remarks
You have reached the end.
This project meant so much for me, as it helped me grow my creativity and express my unsaid thoughts and feelings through the medium of poetry.
My poems will never end there as there are more for me to explore and convey over time.
Stay tuned for the Vol. 2.
Thank you for reading!
