Welcome to our Third Selected Vendor Sale (SVS)! SVS 3 is our third of what we now call a “Selected Vendor Sale” This type of sale will run when we have the right sort of material that fits in at the right time. It may be one single vendor’s sale, or it may be a few vendors, ideally including some quality Estate and Unreserved lots. In the case of this sale, we have eight vendors represented in this Sale. Items may be from a broad range, or may be very focused in nature, with this particular sale providing a spread of lots. This Sale comprises an excellent assortment of interesting items with 560 lots including many from the Estate of the late Ian McConnelly, Numismatist and author - specialising in varieties and Misstrikes. Ian wrote for CAB magazine for 16 years, and also contributed to several Renniks guides. He was a well known figure around the industry for many years, a regular at ANDA Fairs and a true gentleman. Ian sadly passed away in 2017. This Sale also includes two smaller Estates, as well as a large quantity of Unreserved material, a few key highlight lots from previous sales, PCGS and Pre decimal, as well as some other odds and ends we had lying around. All in all this Sale presents a great selection of bargain priced and interesting items from $1 up. In 2019 we will be looking to hold several similar SVS sales, and are always looking to fill an important need in the market to offer clients the ability to have a specialized auction with just (for example) a single high end or large sized collection. This process would also allow the Vendor to have your own Printed Catalogue, and even set the time and other things relevant to the sale to best suit them. See our website for more comprehensive details and how we might best help you. Don’t forget our important signature Live Floor Sale 89 in March 2019, as well as our upcoming Online Sale 12 in December, and keep an eye out for a cheeky Flash Sale sometime in January 2019 (make sure you have signed up for Email notifications in your Online profile). We are taking quality lots for Online Sale 12 and Sale 89 as well as for our regular upcoming sales through 2019. See the website for more details, and don’t forget – you can now consign completely all online! Remember, NO COMMISSIONS for all Sellers means you will get more in hand when you sell with us!
