Vivo V17 Pro: The Perfect Screen, Price, And Specification Vivo has thrown out a lot of tablets in 2019, literally a great deal, and Vivo V17 Pro is one of them. Now, the smartphone manufacturer has set up its devices at each and every price point. And we can't blame Vivo for it, Realme and Redmi are overly hoping to cover every price range making an avalanche of choices for the customers at their desired price point. With V17 Guru, Vivo has determined to rough up the rivalry from the reduced mid-range section. Although the smartphone brings nothing new to the table, we immediately fall in love with the Design. Anyway, Vivo's mid-range choices are always packed with a good camera. However, Is V17 Guru a perfect purchase at this price considering that there are dozens of different alternatives out there? Let us find out.
Build Quality and Design
The Vivo V17 Pro comes in 2 color variants - Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice. Both are tasteful with a unique subtle mix of colors giving it a premium touch. Although it features a plastic rear, it doesn't seem cheap due to its premium design. Despite packaging a 4100 mAh, it simply weighs 201.8 g and not in any way slick to hold. The L-shaped Rear Camera installation is precisely what we find in a normal budget or midsize smartphone. When it comes to layout, the smartphone simply stands out. Using a 6.44 inches hole-punch Screen and E3 super AMOLED panel, the layout is just stunning. Super Slim bezels, large body-to-screen ration, and super punchy colors due to the AMOLED panel will create your streaming encounter remarkable. Chipset Powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC, the chipset isn't the ideal. The performance is closer to Samsung Exynos 9611 chipset though, which is located in Samsung mid-rangers but Realme and Redmi midsize offerings are much better in terms of performance. But, everyday tasks and multitasking could be done without any hiccups thanks to its 8GB RAM. The encounter would be smooth and the in-display fingerprint scanner is quick as lightning. Anyway, it supports Bluetooth 5, USB-OTG, and is Widevine L1 DRM certified, allowing you to stream HD on Netflix and Prime. Camera The Quad Camera Setup consists of 48MP+8MP+13MP+2MP and thickness sensor. We were impressed with the Night Mode which clicks some excellent shots in low light conditions. Even the 48-MP camera pops outside 12-megapixel shots by default. HDR mode doesn't over-brighten the images and takes great shots. The dynamic selection is decent in the primary camera but takes a hit at the ultrawide camera. Not surprisingly, the Macro lens lacks sharpness and the thickness sensor just seems superficial just like most other mid-range phones. Even the 32-Megapixel Selfie Shooter is quite nice and the topic doesn't seem blown out. The dynamic range is great and the colors come out to be very punchy. Software FunTouch OS 9.2 along with Android 9 Pie is the typical Software you locate in almost any Vivo Phone. Although it lacks a couple of optimizations, the port is pretty like iOS, especially the fast toggle screen and an exclusive smart Assistant known as Jovi. Despite all this, Funtouch OS is still among the heaviest skins around and necessitates optimizations. On the other hand, the Phone will get the Android 10 update shortly.
