ADVANTAGES OF PLASTIC EXTRUSION The process of transforming raw plastic material into a high volume continuous profile is known as plastic extrusion. Heat is used to transform the raw plastic into any desired shape. Plastic extrusion is extensively used in industry for cost benefits and recycling purposes. Some of the commonly manufactured items from plastic extrusions include pipes, tubes, wire insulation, weather stripping, plastic films, deck railings, thermoplastic coatings, plastic sheets and films, fencing, etc. and the plastic tube extrusion is the most popular of all.

Plastic extrusion can be achieved with a help of number of plastic materials including nylon, rigid and flexible PVC, ABS, elastomers and a few others.
