Welcome! On behalf of the Board and staff of Hyattsville CDC and our generous sponsors I am pleased to welcome you to “Arts and Ales,” our 10th Annual Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival. Rain or shine, we are sure you will enjoy the amazing mix of media; the many new and returning talents; and the fresh styles selected by our festival jury. This year marks the festival’s 10th Anniversary. To celebrate Hyattsville’s continued support of the arts, our main stage will feature 5 of our most popular acts from the past 10 years; we are host to 65 returning exhibitors and 35 new; and an eclectic mix of 8 food trucks and tents (including our newest favorite: Pizza Paradiso). And not least, 10 of Maryland’s own craft brewing community, organized by our partner: Brewers Association of Maryland. Be sure to check out the local Hyattsville talent right in the mix. In this guide, you’ll find a list of our exhibiting visual artists and artisans, a schedule of performers, featured arts activities, important parking information, community announcements and advertisements. If you’d like to know where to find a participant, please stop by our Information Table for directions. A special thank you goes out to our returning sponsors, for their long-standing, generous support. A great big welcome goes to the newest community sponsors, whose fresh interest and consideration have also helped to make this event possible. We bring this festival built by the community, for the community to everyone who calls Hyattsville home or finds it a great place to be. We hope new visitors will discover the amazing charms of Hyattsville’s downtown and community life. To learn more about Hyattsville CDC, our sponsors, or the Gateway Arts District, please visit with our friendly staff and volunteers at the Information Table.
