Greetings, Why Bursting on the Scene? In May 2017, HCDC produced ‘Bursting on the Scene’, a community paint event where artists and residents transformed a barren underpass at the West Hyattsville Metro station into the vibrant mural, “Breaking the Horizon”: a locally inspired and community-produced work of art. This year we are eager to do it again and look forward to engage the community to take part in beautifying and generating new public art. A special thank you goes to our sponsors for their long standing, generous support. We want everyone who calls Hyattsville home to find it a great place to enjoy the arts in all their forms. We also hope new visitors will find Hyattsville a destination worth coming to again and again. To learn more about our organization and our sponsors, scan this program book or stop by the Hyattsville CDC welcome table. We look forward to meeting you. Warm regards,

Stuart Eisenberg, Executive Director Hyattsville Community Development Corporation
