The plaza is surrounded by contemporary buuildings comprising of a university, librarym shopping hall, subway, hotels and residential buildings

Plaza Euskadi includes various feautures that contribute to its overall appeal. It takes into account the green spaces, seating area, pedestrian-friendly design, and the use of lighting to ensure th plaza is well-lit and inviting, even during evening hours. Each feature is carefully considered to create an enjoyable and functional public space.

The well deisgned external spaces benefit the hospital staff by providing them with the opportunity fir rest and retreat, leading to increased job satisfaction , reduced absenteeism, staff turnover and ultimately improved patient care. Studies show that green vistas, natural sunlight and access to natural surroundings can improve patient psychological and physical wellbeing.

The hospital offers a naturally healing environemnent for patients to enjoy. It includes lakeside parklands, intimate rehabilitation courtyards, intensive rooftop gardens and urban plazas to ensure a continuous connection with nature for patients, staff and visitors

It invites people to move more freely throughtout the campus

Primary pictures + drawings + quick models + development

I have taken the organic shape of a primary picture a bell pepper, drew it and simplified it, creating a simple outline of the shape using wires. Then developed it by stacking them together, acting like layers and playing around with the shapes of the bell paper, creating balconies.

Cut out the shape of the petals and placed them standing up, then used what was left over, the outline of the petal and curved it. This makes it seem as some kind of arch or put represents windows or the entrance/exit of a building

I used the same cut out petals and tried a different way, by layering them on top of each other, like what a normal flower would look like

Using all previous model ideas. I have incorporated different features and combined them to get to this final stage.

With the help of my research i have used inspiration rom their buildings into mine to create a unique and different building, with the use of organic and natural forms.
